These guys seem shady. After constantly coming back to me with WAY too low of a trade-​in value for my current car, I left and they were supposed to call me back with another offer after they talked with the «manager». I never heard back from the salesman, so I called them the next day. He said he was talking to finance that afternoon and he’d call me back. Again, never heard a thing from them. I will be going to Royal Gate in Columbia when it’s time to buy a new Dodge!

I tried to buy a Chrysler here and the sales manager acted better then all. He ran a credit report on me but wouldn’t give me any idea of an interest rate. They had my trade on for over 24 hours and never even did an estimate on it. Stay away from here and find another dealership.

This dealership is AWFUL!!! I wish i could give it a ZERO!!! My husband & I tried to buy a work truck there which we found on autotrader. For 2 weeks straight I couldn’t get anyone to call me back. When I finally got a hold of someone, the manager did everything but cuss me out. He told us his men were excellent customer service representatives & I was wasting his time by being on the phone with him. He told me to go back to my «high end» dealership since I drive a range rover. I have never been treated like this at any dealership & don’t understand how this place stays in business! Stay far away!

If I could give zero or negative, I would. We recently went jeep shopping and were not impressed with this location and bought a jeep somewhere else. But a light came on and we were having some issues with the transmission. We took it in for service here and explained we had concerns for safety. They were HORRIBLE! They just shut off the light and nothing else! Husband drove it off and it was still having issues! Took it to another jeep dealership 3 days later and they found all kinds of issues. Getting a brand new transmission, shame on you…

I was headed in up there to look at a van that seemed a little underpriced. Before heading there I called to discuss it and I asked about the history and the carfax. I was told it was a local trade in, it was of maintained meticulously by the dealership, car fax was clean. I said great I will see you in an hour or so please have the vehicle and information ready.
Upon arrival the van was not ready. The paperwork on the carfax was not ready. The maintenance records at the dealership were described to me by by memory and I can not see them because of privacy laws. Privacy laws on vehicle maintenance? The car fax finally printed showing a accident w.o. details which contradicted the clean record before.
I was getting annoyed and suspicious of the van I have yet to see at this point. Finally I drive it and I was starting to feel like this was still an option because it seemed well maintained and drove nice but I was still cautious. I sat back down where I started and I shot them a price 900 below their asking with the contingency I take to my mechanic.
The car dealer I was working with refused to make them the offer. He insisted they were already giving it away and Jason wouldn’t go for it. Eventually he got up and made them the offer which they accepted and everyone seemed happy. Until I asked about taking to my mechanic to look for damage from accident.
It was then that they told me it hasn’t even been through their shop yet and it was as is, tonight’s price only, take it now. I should have walked out then but I got them to agree to run it through their shop at least and give me the option to let my mechanic see it after I put down a deposit. We agreed to those terms and a new final price in morning.
They kept it overnight and ran it through their shop. I called and got some input on changing fog light lenses and a windshield wiper nozel and seat trim. Of course gouge me for this because this is what matters right. Oh yeah there is oil seepage around drain pan gasket but it’s totally normal… but they are not done yet we will call you back. 2 hours pass and they call me back w a new price for the cosmetic nonsense and no input on the vehicles mechanical condition and the freaking normal oil seepage. I want details on the mechanical condition but the guy calling me doesnt know and will need to call me back for that.
In the next hour while I awaited the call on the details they sold the van to someone else. Forgetting about the first customer who wanted a little resolution from a shady first impression. They tried to make it right by offering to find me another 2009 van. Ha no thanks. I would not recommend them to anyone. It was shady from start to finish. It is for the best I didn’t get the no accident normal oil seepage take it now only van from them.

We brought our jeep here before the warranty expired to fix what they determined to be a broken water pump and a steering wheel that always looks like it’s pointed left even when you’re driving straight (it basically looks as though you’re making left turn even though you’re not) When we picked it up to drive it home, not only was the steering wheel still crooked, (They said it’s not creating any problems so they didn’t see a need to fix it) but now we also had a FLAT TIRE! Who sends someone home with a flat tire!?! We turned around and said «our car has a flat tire!»
Then, I brought our car back one last time because suddenly our spare key (which we have been using for 2 years) was causing our anti theft feature to kick in and the key was useless. It would turn the car on but not allow you to drive, and the remote lock/​unlock feature stopped working with that key too. I made an appointment for the next day and when I showed up for it they said they didn’t have any appointment for us. He looked at me like I was the one who screwed up the date, but then told me later that there system has been «losing appointments here and there sometimes»… What the heck!?! Then get a new system and don’t make me feel like I’m inconveniencing you.
Then he told me «I can try to reprogram it for $ 55 but if that might not work and you may need a new key which will cost an ADDITIONAL $ 200, that’s in ADDITION to the $ 55 attempt ton reprogram. I told him that was too much and if the reprogram doesn’t work I will just have to live with one key, and then he tried to sell me a service package to make sure everything else was running smoothly with our car that would cost $ 715! What!!! Never again will I come here. I didn’t want to come here after our last experience, but my husband said this was the only place this side of the river that had a service department. Looks like we’ll be crossing the river for our future needs.

We purchased a used vehicle here a couple of years ago and it all went pretty smoothly so when we were ready to purchase again we returned to Oliver C. Our original salesperson was no longer there and we got Daniel. Daniel was great, really worked hard to find us what we were looking for in the right price range. My husband laid out what we wanted to pay each month and the terms he was looking for. We were told that wasn’t a problem and they would make that happen.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN! We were left to sit for 45 minutes with no word and when we got up to leave Jason, the credit manager, came out and said that he was «arm wrestling with the banks» to get the terms we wanted but he was about $ 1450 away could we put more down or trade in something. We said no, we would try a different dealership and tried again to leave. We were asked to give them 10 more minutes so we waited again. After a couple of minutes Gary Rayfield came out and led us to his office. WOW what a difference. He was honest and straight forward (AT LAST!!) and worked diligently to help us reach a great deal!
They could be a GREAT dealership if they got rid of a few bad, cheesy, stereo typical salespeople and «Managers» and got rid of that antiquated idea that buying a car should be a game of how much they can jerk the buyer around and squeeze a few hundred more out of the sale.
Gary and Daniel are the two to ask for when you go here, they will take good care of you.

Please show us, that your parents did’t waste their money sending you to college. Look up the definitions of fraud, grounds to set aside contracts, employer’s liabilities when employees or agents representing the business committ an act of fraud. Do you not have any shame to your game? Did you take any business courses, maybe business law, contract law while you were in college? Bradley, I found the sales contract, today, I think you should be proud, total amount of sale with interest is $ 36,840.26 on a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4×4 that is only worth $ 18,000-$ 20,000, three months after the SLAUGHTER!!! There is a term for what YOUR salesman, JASON VICE the FRAUDSTER committed on my son and I, it’s called UPSIDE-​DOWN in a vehicle??? We came over to Belleville, that day, to do business in good faith, what happen, BRADLEY. Your salesman, JASON the FRAUDSTER has put my financial future at risk. The bait and switch tactics, we’re beautiful. Where was the Salesmanger that I came over to meet with, never met him, found out on your website his name is Stan. Thanks, Stan for showing up. I came over there for that special deal, with Stan, was that the deal a USED car for NEW car PRICES!!! I have to give you a hand, for arranaging your showroom with all the more expensive Jeeps to give me and my son the impression that the Jeep we where buying FOR $ 26,931.00 was a good deal, was that deceptive or what? I have call two dealerships over here in Mo., told them, about that great loan, that you all got behind my back, Thur SCOTT CREDIT UNION for 150% of the value of the car, that’s right, Two dealerships and a bank over here wants to know «how did they get that loan though»? Bradley, this is my son’s first exiperience, so I must admit we both learned about AUTO DEALER FRAUD. Are you not proud? Jason were you trying to help my 22 young son, destroy his future credit, before it ever even began??? What drove you to the point, that you would intentional do this to my son??? I KNOW «IT’S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!! VICTIM OF GREED!!! Sale over at OLIVER C. JOESPH! They sell USED cars at NEW car PRICES!!! BRADLEY How you I me NOW!!!

Derick Ditzler is a great auto sales person and is the ONLY good thing about this joint. he is top notch, no pressure and really gives a client a good warm feeling.
the rest of OCJ can suck it. especially the credit department.
my wife and i have bought several cars from Derick, who happens to work there. we would not have went to OCJ if Derick didnt work there.
anyway, im chasing our kids around the showroom, my wife is signing the financials. and since it is our second or third vehicle we purchased there, we did not read the fine print nor question the finance guys details as we had some built in trust. WE SHOULD HAVE!!! DO NOT TRUST THE GD FINANCE GUYS!!! THEY ARE CROOKS!!!
this a-​hole bait and switches my wife into a extended warranty package to the tune of 5K. basically implying that i t «comes with the finance package», however he HAD ALREADY BUILT THE WARRANTY COST INTO TO THE LOAN PRICE!!! so the price ‘didnt go up”.
i got home and read through everything as was boiling rabbits.
mind you we bought a 60K luxury vehicle that did not need a BS warranty.
my wife are the type that will by 1 – 2 or new cars every few years. we will not go back to OCJ due to this experience.

Got the jeep wrangler 6 weeks ago from this place
Was removing the soft top to put the hardtop back on. I did this by unscrewing the T30 torx screw off the bracket. Now one of them won’t come out. It just sits there and spins
MOnday — I called and told them the problem, they said come by and they can see if it can be fixed. I drove up and they said I have to make an appt. M-​F, they close at 5 pm. I work all day so I sent my wife. She shows up on Friday at 10, they did not have us in the books even though we set it up on Monday. She drops it off, lugs my 3 year old around the dealership for about an hour, then they call her and say it’s done
Well, it wasn’t. They didn’t do anything. They won’t fix it because they said I was removing the soft top all wrong. They said to remove the soft top, I’d have to leave the knuckle in place and remove the entire bracket itself from behind the c-​pillar.
I looked it up in the owner’s manual and they said to remove the knuckle, then remove the bracket. BL — they were wrong and I can indeed use a t30 to remove the soft top bows from the bracket. Everybody and their mother on all 50 wrangler forums remove the soft top this way.
I complained to the service manager, and he said he can come to my house to show me the proper way to take the top down (sounds perverted but not really)
I channeled up and then complained to the general manager and he said I should just leave the soft top on with the hard top covering it. I told him the owner’s manual says to remove one of the tops, hell, there was a big bright orange sticker that said to remove it as well. GM then said «well, I have them both in there without any problems.» REALLY? GOOD FOR YOU, BUT THE OWNER’S MANUAL SAYS OTHERWISE
SEE YA! I will take my business elsewhere!

I have only gotten oil changes here. they are ok by me. when i first purchased my used car from another dealer, i want a specific part. they searched to find it was not available to put on my car. BOO! the service people can be a little abrupt, but on my last visit it was better. i wil continue using them.

yes i receive your letter and no you did not call Mark @ Chrysler to find out the circumstances … you took Colette’s word on what the issue was .
this was never about $ 100 deductible and it is pretty said you think that… i would have been happy to pay YOUR dealership the deductible but you refuse to diagnose the vehicle.
i would tell you again to contact Mark @ Chrysler’s customer service 1−800− 763‑8422 ext. 66 257 CASE# 20 791 608 as to the specifics of the matter as he has also made written complaint to his supervisor with your dealership not honoring the extended service warranty.
i recorded all the phone conversations between me and your service department and the dealer’s manager Greg… and it is appalling.
so for the recorded your dealership has the worst service and i am sorry to say i purchased the vehicle from you
