We came here on a sunny winter day, and it was absolutely gorgeous. Being a weekday, we had the place to ourselves except for a few people walking their dogs. As I’ve found with most Eastside parks, Killarney Glen is very well maintained. The landscaping is trimmed and tidy, with a definite forest feel as tall trees surround all sides of the park. The park is tucked away in a residential area. Walking along the paths, it really felt as though we were in a forest. The giant trees were mesmerizing and my son and I enjoyed searching for the signs of spring. He’s preschool-aged, so a few laps around the winding paths was the perfect length. The playground is not a traditional slides-and-turrets setup. Instead, it was more open-ended with balancing structures, climbing structures, and swings, of course. There was also a very large grassy area, perfect for picnics, soccer, or frisbee! We stayed off it though as the recent rains had made the area pretty muddy. In addition to the playground, there is a basketball court(adjacent to the playground), tennis courts(closer to the parking lot), and, as I mentioned, the nature paths. Overall, an excellent park. We’ll definitely be back! other particulars… Restrooms — I didn’t see any. Parking — A decent sized lot. Not sure how crowded the park becomes on summer days…

Nice for the families in the area, or any walkers. Can get a little dark from all the shade and trees, even on nice days.

Good solid park in the Enatai neighborhood. Good sized parking lot, large grassy area, and small wooded trail area. Has a cute little kids play area with swings and toys, basketball hoops, and a couple tennis courts. It’s surrounded by trees so it’s pretty dark and cool. Gets really muddy in the rainy months but a nice place for summer. Never too crowded and attracts families, dog walkers, and the likes.
