Dr Zimmer is wonderful! I find it hard to believe that people could call him uncaring. He performed a LEEP procedure on me and I was very frightened and he made me feel at ease. Months later I became pregnant and he saw me through my high risk pregnancy involving a cerclage. I carried to full term and have Dr Zimmer and Dr Wall(Perinatologist at Eastside Fetal Medicine) to thank. I have to say that I do feel sorry for those who say their Dr was not on call to deliver for you. Dr Zimmer was also not on call when I went in to labor, but came in especially to deliver. I think if you really build a good relationship with your doctor then they will go the extra mile for you. Dr Zimmer also circumcised my son and has delivered 3 of my friends babies. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. He keeps you calm and always has a smile on his face and really knows his stuff! I will agree in that the wait time at Bellegrove OBGYN can be long, but that is no reflection on Dr Zimmer. I am so glad he was there for my pregnancy and other OB issues.

He was my doctor. But when I delivered my baby we was not on call. Another doctor on call delivered my baby. She was very nice and caring. I have tried to make an appointment with her, but I have been told that the waiting list is like of 2 years. After my premature baby was born, he came to the hospital as doctors do to check up on his patients. He asked the nurse if I was in the room. I was taking a shower and my husband was there. Because the nurse told him I was in the shower, he did not bother to come inside and speak with my husband. Never congratulated us in the hospital and never called. His office is very busy and is very difficult to get an appointment unless you are pregnant. If you believe you have an infection, the nurse has to call you first and then see if is required to see the doctor. Twice they have taken a record of someone else with the same name and they have taken longer to call me. I have changed doctors.
