Bellflower Diner

I’ve been to this restaurant about 5 times now and I never leave unsatisfied. I take dates here and for $ 25 I can feed them breakfast that they enjoy and doesn’t break the bank. Protip: women love breakfast. I’ve never had a complaint from their pancakes to their soups or sandwiches everything is priced really well and the portions sizes are better than Denny’s. There are no holes in the walls, the cook doesn’t undercook the eggs, every complaint I read in the reviews sound like a competitor trying to get people to not go here.
Honestly I cannot recommend this place any more.

This is a very affordable, friendly, family owned restaurant. We came here for breakfast on a Saturday and were seated right away… The family who owns this great place is very nice and welcoming. They even talked with us while we were there… The service is awesome. They have a lot of fun antique signs and license plates on the walls and some cool antiques all around the dining room… They are only open for breakfast and lunch, but they sure do make one hell of a good breakfast and their coffee is very good. I highly recommend Bellflower Diner, especially if you’re all about supporting small businesses, like I am.

Very charming, family owned, restaurant. Food is very reasonably priced, and tastes good. Came here with my family and we were all very pleased with the food and quality of the service.

This place has a good variety of Breakfast & Lunch Options. The Chilaquiles are a bit Spicey but very good. The Dollar Pancakes are good but small portion. Make sure and order something else if you are hungry. Their Albacore Sandwich with Lettuce and tomatoe is a good option. Great Service. Their Staff is very friendly and come and check up on you. The Prices are great!

Bellflower Diner is absolutely my favorite and most importantly my family’s favorite place to eat! We love the Mexican omelette its to die for! My father has been bringing me to this cute diner since I was a little baby girl! To this day my favorite. If you love family owned restaurants and real tasteful food must come here!!!

One of my favorite mom and pop restaurants in the city of bellflower. Love the variety of selections between my personal choice of mexican and American food. I enjoy the healthy dishes incorporated in the menu. Staff was very helpful and nice. Good portion, quality, freshness, and presentation of food. And i am a very picky eater to be impress.

Food is amazing! First time here, hubby’s second, and we will come back! They were so nice and attentive always trying to refill our drinks and checking in on us. The place is family run and delicious, we got our food and drinks fast! 5 stars for sure, I definitely recommend this to everyone!

This might not be a fair review as the day I came, I was rather ill. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. Usually, this is an item that I enjoy from just about any restaurant. Today, I did not enjoy it at all. The corned beef was bland and somewhat tasteless, which was surprising given that canned corned beef is usually salty at least. Making the dish more unsavory were the burned potatoes throughout. The eggs were prepared well and I would normally enjoy them. However, I could not force myself to eat them after the unsavory flavor of the hash. I used to come to this diner when I worked in the area and always enjoyed my meals. To be fair, I never ordered hash in the past. Perhaps if I had stuck to the menu items I knew, the meal would have been more successful. I will probably give it another chance just in case my tastebuds were off.

Ive only had the aloha omelette here and its pretty good. The service was good and inside looked like a souvenir shop with decorated walls and ceiling.

I wish I could say my review was on the food but it wasn’t. I was there this morning just before 7:30 and waited about 20 – 25 minutes for the place to open. I walked up to the door a couple times and there wasn’t even anyone is the building. I understand it’s Monday and might have been a long weekend but change the hours to 8 if that’s the case.

Now I remember why I hadn’t been here in a while. I had a craving for an omelette and I remembered their kitchen sink omelette was loaded with everything so we ordered one and a pancake special for my husband. The omelette comes with ham, sausage, bacon, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, and avocados. Sounds good right? The omelette tasted ok to be honest. My complaint is that I felt as if I odered a mushroom omelette. The plate was loaded with mushrooms. I love mushrooms, but this was way too many for an omelette. I ate a lot of mushrooms and there were plenty left over in the end. Also, my avocados were black. My husband’s pancake special looked like a kid’s meal. Usually when u go to a restaurant or burger stand for pancakes, they are the size of the plate. The plate came with 3 MINI pancakes the size of the palm of an adult’s hand, bacon & eggs. I felt bad because I suggested this place. Oh well. Live & learn. We won’t be back for sure this time.

Enjoyed breakfast here for the first time. Shared the XXL breakfast burrito with the hubby and it was really good and filling. Added some hot salsa for that extra kick!
The Chilaquiles plate was also tasty, could be more saucy but they were good. We had to have a honey– brand muffin to see for ourselves what everyone was reviewing hehe. Well it was very moist and fresh but just wished it were a bit sweeter, tasted a bit more on the salty side for me.
We’ll be back though! Cozy fun dinner, great service and it’s family owned. We support small businesses !!

Okay, so don’t you just love when your driving aimlessly and stumble upon a hidden gem. Well that exact thing happened to me today when I arrived at this homey little joint! All I will say is great prices, decent food you get what you pay for! My only critique would be… Well not the cleanest establishment!
Over all a great little hole in the wall I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the Bellflower area looking for a good breakfast!

What a kitchy eclectic place. Great service and the honey bran muffin is to die for. Exactly the kind of scratch made item I would expect in a real diner like this. Our entrees came out very fast and were huge and delicious!
I’d totally come back here for breakfast, but I really want the burger. Looks amazing!!!

This is a very cute and cozy diner! The service is friendly. I especially like that when a customer decides not to have the toast that comes with their meal, the owner uses it to make sandwiches for the homeless. What a great idea! I’m all about giving back to others less fortunate!

I have driven by here several times, and I have never stopped till today. I have the morning munchies.
The Decore inside, I was a little taken back as there is much to see on the walls.
I guess I was expecting much more room with flowers on the table lol.
upon walking in, I wasn’t seen for 2min just standing by the door. I guess you walk in sit where you want. But many tables where Dirty, so where is there to sit. My waiter has taken my order

potatoes are crispy and fresh they are not cut potatoes but more like shredded hashbrown size. Oh Man! The sauce to my eggs benedict are cheesy and Overall my eggs benedict are Awesome yumm. BUT THEY FORGOT MY TOAST –1*
looks like this will be a place to Eat… when you need that breakfast fixing and hommie feel.

I wanted to like the Bellflower Diner. Maybe that’s why I’m so disappointed.
My chilaquile omelet was… odd. I expected crispy, fresh chilquiles wrapped inside a fluffy omelet. What I received was a flat, solid scrambled egg base topped with overcooked, colorless, too spicy and bland at the same time, mess. I wanted beans and rice but was served potatoes.
My husband ordered the corned beef hash. It was just your ordinary canned diner hash, but his over easy eggs came one over medium and the other over hard. This meant mixing everything for gooey delicious-​ness was out of the question.
The coffee was ok, I’m just being picky that I didn’t like they had non — dairy creamer. At least it wasn’t coffee whitener, right?
There were a few positives. The service was great, the prices were low, and the place was kitschy cute. It just wasn’t enough for a second visit.

I’ve seen this place many many many times while driving down Bellflower Blvd. Never stopped until my Niece invited us for Breakfast… YES we really liked it.
