Orozco’s Auto Service

I am a female who needed an AC belt replaced & as I was driving I happened to notice 0ROZCOS Auto Service in Bellflower, Ca.
I walked in & was pleasantly greeted by by a front desk employee whose name is «Oliver» what I enjoyed about Oliver was his professionalism, his service skills, politeness and most importantly his «HONESTY!» now let’s face it girls, most of us may know a little something but not everything! Now although Oliver has to do his job just like any other automotive service shop & tell you this??? that???needs to be done… he wasn’t pushy, he wasn’t those tricky munipulative persistaht types that run you off… he will point out his most important concern (s) if he feels it shouldn’t go neglected & as far as the service I had done on my Mazda Miata… It was like getting in a tub of «CALGON!» «IT DROVE SO CLEAN, JUST REPLACING MY BELT (AND THEY DID EXTRA LITTLE THINGS) made such a difference in how it felt and drove, oh!!!
& their pricing is very real & fair, they do not over quote you! Labor is what it is «anywhere» you go! so with that being said…
I have become an Orozco’s customer & most definitely will get more service done not only for their performance but
for who represents it when you walk in the doors such as Oliver! Way to go!!!

I took in my gas tank off of our vintage London Taxi to get repaired and Howard was very friendly and offered to fix it at a good price. After spending several days and many hours sandblasting it and trying to repair it, he and his workers came to the conclusion that the tank was too far gone and could not be fixed. He was great at communicating with me throughout the entire process and worked hard to fix it. After all that effort, he told me there would be no charge because they couldn’t fix it and referred me to Chuck’s Performance Welding across the street that does amazing welding and classic car repair. I am impressed how honest, hard working and straight forward Howard and his workers are.

My father-​in-​law went to this mechanic to get a diagnostic test on his van because it kept shutting off. They replaced a part they claimed was causing the problem, but his van continued to shut off in the same way it had as before the part was replaced. When he took it back, they said it was the fuel pump, which he refused to let them replace because they did not accurately diagnose the problem in the first place. Afterwards he noticed there were new issues with the van (his new battery had been replaced with an old battery, and his windshield wipers weren’t working). They denied having taken the battery.
Overall he was dissatisfied with the service and the integrity of their work.

Howard, Robert, Jeff and Jovany provided excellent service today! I’m a returning customer because these gentlemen treated me with respect and kindness and have given me very reasonable quotes and deals I couldn’t pass up! They are fair and do a great job. I appreciate the education I’ve gotten, too. The guys brought me in to see the work and taught me more about my vehicle. I’m thankful for Servando Orozco and his team!

As a mechanic myself, I am ashamed of how Howard Montes operates this garage. He and people like him are the reason service garages have such a horrible reputation, and in this case, it is well deserved. It is absolute price gouging that goes on here. Services, ALL SERVICES, should be charged based apon the amount of time a technician will have to spend working on the vehicle. (And of course the parts, fluids, other expendables… obviously) I had already performed the 100k mile service on my Toyota Tundra myself (replaced timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulleys, and thermostat) The only reason I brought my vehicle in was to have the cooling system back flushed, which requires an expensive piece of equipment to do properly. (Back flushing should ALWAYS be done after replacing your water pump people. Otherwise the sediment left behind will destroy the new water pump seal in a year or so :/​) Anyways, Mr Montes flat out refused to bill me for the service based apon how long it actually took his technician to do it. The price he demanded was OVER DOUBLE what many other places quoted, AND more than double the price of how many tenths (service job pricing is broken down into tenths of billable hours. Ie $ 80 an hr, each six minutes spent on the job costs $ 8) it took me personally to perform the same work on other vehicles.
DO YOURSELF, YOUR WALLET, AND THE AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR INDUSTRY A FAVOR. STAY AWAY FROM MR MONTES AND OROZCO’S AUTO SERVICE!

Jeff was a very helpful informative employee at Orozcos. The service was great my car runs better and at reasonable honest rates. This is a reputable place and I will return.

Great service and trusted mechanics. Howard and Servando were both very kind and took care of my cars recommended needs. My family and I have been a loyal customers for the last 7 years.

I went there to have them install a add-​on fan for the radiator I purchased the fan and all the equipment for the instalation, the service manager puts on a act like he gives a damn but in the end he totaly disrespects you by charging well over what it costs to perform the work on your vehicle. It seems as though he determined his price on how much work I put into my truck it is a very good looking truck and it took me over 22 years to be able to save and have the things I wanted added onto this truck, once he saw how nice the truck looked he began asking me questions on how much the stuff I had done on my truck costs, so transparent, right there I could tell he was sizing up what he would charge me for the work. I believe Orozco could save himself a bunch of money in wages and just cut this guy out. The service Techs are very friendly and would have done it for a fair price just by talking with him I could tell that. Oroczo, get rid of this middle man you are wasting money get one of the Techs to advise and write the work order, you are loosing money both ways with this guy you don’t need a service mananger just someone to be honest and forthright with the customer. If you are fair and not phoney people with good sense notice that, but when you treat people like they are stupid and don’t know better and all you are out for is to make a quick buck they also notice that. You may be doing well Orozco but you could be doing soooo much better.

It’s hard to trust any Auto Service, but when i came to Orozco’s, i knew i was in good hands. I was immediately greeted by Howard, i could tell he knew about cars, specially my car (2005 dodge ram 2500). I really felt a connection with Howard, he was direct and didn’t try to sell me extra bells and whistles. I recommend Orozco’s auto service to anyone who cares about their car.

I brought my 2008 accord in for and oil change today. They did a great job. I was out of there in 30 minutes… I would definitely come back.

My wife and I have been coming here for multiple maintenance work on our 2005 4Runner and 2010 Tacoma. We have nothing but good things to say about Howard and his crew. The jobs done include oil change, coolant fluid flush, brake changes, tire air pressure sensor replacement/​programming, wheel hub assembly replacement, all fluids flush, and differential services. They can do it all in a fast manner and at a very affordable price compared to the competitors. Highly recommend Orosco’s Auto Service.

I work in Bellflower and needed some work done to my car. My water pump wasnt functioning properly, and I needed to get this fixed! After much research, I decided to give Orozco’s a try! I am seriously glad I did. I was helped by Howard. He was very patient with my many questions, explained the process of a cooling system, and he gave me several options to chose from. This is especially important because I know little about this stuff. I took the time to write this review because good customer service is hard to come by these days. My pump was fixed, and for a reasonable price. Thank you Howard and Orozco’s for the great service. I will be back!!!

Update I decided to purchase a new Gas tank and walk away from the one I have at there shop. I would have never been satisfied with their work and I have to consider that I’m using new injectors and do not want there work to be in the equation. I will never go back and I have posted on other web sites to watch out for this place.

Utilized Orozco’s to check out vehicle I was interested in purchasing. They performed a thorough and complete review of the vehicle, including the cost of repair. I was able to use this information to my advantage during subsequent negotiation over price of vehicle.

state of the art shop… seldon is knowledgeable and courteous… i would take any of my cars there, you can’t beat the service and price…
