Had to go to them twice — it’s never good news to need auto body repair — but their service and quality were astoundingly good.

I’ve had my car repaired twice recently. Winter was tough on my car. Hynes is amazing — from handling the insurance to the pride they take in returning an impeccable car … Both the inside and the outside. The owner, Hernan, could not be nicer. I highly recommend this shop!

Took my prius to Hynes Collision after being backed in by a pick up truck. They arranged the rental car and in less than two weeks my prius was ready. When I picked up the car, the quality of their work was striking. The end result was good as new. They also buffed off some scratches from the rear bumper without me even asking them. I love the complementary interior detail. I will certainly recommend Hynes collision.

I’ve been to quite a few body shops in my time (much to my dismay) and I have to say these guys were solid. Repaired the car on time, dealt with my insurance company and delivered a perfectly fixed car (nice body work, paint matching and cleaning).

Amazing service. Accurate and knowledgable estimates. Efficient use of labor and parts made my bill end up costing less than the estimate (I was paying out of pocket). Hernan is the man.
I’ve only lived here a year so I’ve never had to use a body shop until now. Now I know where to go for great service. They even cleaned my car for me!

I have had a few occasions to leave my car with Hernan and the folks at Hynes, and each time I have been fully satisfied with every aspect of the process. They are friendly, transparent professionals who really do take pride in their work. I personally can’t compare Hynes to other shops, since I’ve only ever used them, but I’ve never met anyone whose had work down there who wasn’t also totally happy with the work. My insurance adjustor actually said he preferred working with Hynes because nothing falls through the cracks.

I brought my car here at the request of my insurance company after I was involved in an accident that damaged the front and back of my car. The work was done ahead of schedule, but when I arrived there was a new scratch on the side of my car, the inside wasn’t detailed (as it says on the website), there were black marks all over the interior of my car, and a part inside the hood wasn’t installed correctly because it was visible from the outside when the hood was closed. They were very eager to buff out the scratch while I wait and send me on my way, but I said I wanted the interior cleaned too and that I will come back tomorrow. I went back the next day and everything was fixed to my liking. The owner was very nice and gave me a coupon for a free detail to use in the spring. Because they were able to make things right, I am giving this shop 4 out of 5 stars.

Just picked up my car from Hynes and I have nothing but good things to say about them! Hernan (I think that’s his name) at the front desk was very helpful and easy to work with. I really appreciated that he kept me informed about the status of my car throughout the process and explained how they were going to fix it.
They had my car back to me on time and I didn’t pay a penny over estimate (which was awesome since I was paying out of pocket, not through insurance) even though they fixed a pretty good scrape totally unrelated to the dent I was getting repaired, just to be nice! Plus they give your interior a quick detail before handing your car back over to you, which was an awesome surprise.
Great customer service, great workmanship, and a great experience all around. From now on I will not let any of my family or friends go anywhere else if they need body work done. Thanks Hynes!

Excellent experience here. I brought my Rav4 in to be serviced here for some minor body work, and these guys are very good. My car was finished even earlier than they estimated it would be ready by, and they did good quality work. Family owned business that really cares about the customer.

Just picked up my car today. There were some small dents, which were fixed as expected, working with my insurance company. Bonus points though for cleaning the car inside and out. I was sad to leave my old body shop, but glad I found this one!

I have had my wife’s and my cars fixed at Hynes a few times over the years. The people there are top-​notch. They say when the job will be done, and it is. They promise first class work at good prices and they deliver.

Great company. I had rammed the side of my car into a concrete post and damaged 3 panels of a fairly new car. They were able to fix it to look brand new. Price seemed reasonable and I paid out of pocket rather than going through insurance. My car was finished by the time they said it would be and it was cleaned inside out. Very impressed and I would go there again or recommend any of my friends to go there.

Needed to get my passenger mirror fixed. They were about 30% cheaper than any other shop. Great work, pricing, and much more pleasant interactions than some other places.

After dealing with incredibly incompetent folks at the insurance company of the driver who rear-​ended me, my experience with Hynes was a welcome change of pace. They were thorough, fast, and provided great service.
Hernan was courteous enough to order the parts for my car before even receiving payment from the insurance company in order to ensure that they would arrive by the time I dropped my car off. And he called me in advance to let me know of a delay in shipping. I was told it would take at least a week to repair my car, but they did it in 3.5 days, which is even more impressive because of the holiday this week.
I am so glad I went to Hynes — they made an already stressful headache of a situation far more pleasant. Definitely recommend them for quality service and repairs.

These people treated me like I was a VIP throughout the entire process. They fixed a dent in my bumper and then noticed that my headlights were foggy, so they polished the plastic over the headlights free of charge. So nice!
They clean your car inside and out before you pick it up.

We took our car here after my husband rear-​ended the tow truck taking our OTHER car to another garage. Yeah.
This place is on Liberty Mutual’s «approved» list and they have an appraiser on staff. They did a great job fixing everything on our car and had it back in a reasonable timeframe. The office staff is really great and we have no complaints.
We did notice, after getting our car back, there was condensation under one of the headlights (meaning it was not re-​installed correctly). Hynes fixed it for us in an hour the day after we noticed, making sure to get us sorted out and ensuring neither my husband or I needed to take time off work. I appreciated that they corrected this mistake so quickly and conveniently!

This place is great. Not only did they do a beautiful job on my car after 2 accidents, the service is exceptional. Hernan is very nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend Hynes for auto body work.

I highly recommend Hynes. They fixed my front end after an accident and did an amazing job.
Hernan in the front office is friendly and so easy to work with. Through no fault of Hynes, my car had some unforeseen issues that made the job take longer than anticipated, and Hernan kept me informed every step of the way. He worked with my insurance company to make sure my rental was covered since the work was taking longer.
I would definitely return to Hynes.

My car got rear-​ended and I took it to Hynes based on reviews here on Unilocal.The bumper needed to be replaced and painted to match the car. When I went to pick up the car, the paint on the bumper was wrong. It was at least a tone off color. When I pointed it out to them, they tried to point out the difference in colors between other panels. I couldn’t see a difference like they were pointing out. I insisted that the bumper be repainted so that it would match. (The car is a creamy white, and they painted the bumper bright white — it looked bad!) They fixed the car and made it right.
This is the second accident I’ve ever been involved with in my life, and I was glad that they fixed the car and made the bumper the right color, but I was put off by their thinly veiled attempt to pass it off as «it’s just like the front bumper», when it was really wrong. I’m a «car guy» and was looking very closely to see if the paint was right. I give them 3 stars only because they fixed it and made it right.

I needed some cosmetic work on my car due to rust and the bumpers being scratched up.
I bring my car to Little Foreign Car Garage on Thayer Road in Waltham and they referred me to Hynes for this project.
When I brought my car in the same day I received a very reasonable price quote and I didn’t have to think twice about getting a second opinion.
Over the next couple days I received periodic updates that included the discovery of additional rust issues that we hadn’t covered during the price quote.
Hynes didn’t add much of anything to the total when they could have. They just appreciated the business even though it was extra work. While it took a couple of extra days for the additional work, my 13 year old car came back looking brand new.
And they says it’s the little things, every one of the cars Hynes works on comes back washed and detailed on the inside.
I left there only after telling them how pleased I was and that I would be giving them a great review.
