I entered the building and was immediately greeted with a hello! She then asked if I was staying or had a to go order. I explained I was going to make a to go order but had not been there before. She guided me to a table, opened a menu and poured me a glass of water! So kind:) I flipped through the menu trying to decide what to order for my daughter and myself. Everything sounded good! I got the vegetarian crispy egg rolls(3 stars) the potstickers(3 stars) and the chicken Bhan Mi sandwich(4 stars). How did I come up with the total of a 4 star rating? I liked the clean restaurant, the impeccable service and I think I just didn’t order what they are really good at making! Also my total cost was only $ 15.50! The egg rolls were tiny without much flavor. The dipping sauce also bland. The pot sticker filling was bland but I did enjoy that garlicky dipping sauce. Both appetizers were served with fresh greens and cucumbers. I was able to have this as a salad! No extra cost and a nice surprise. The sandwich at a mere $ 4.50 was terrific. Tender tasty chicken with cucumber, carrots & cilantro. I didn’t think it needed the mayonnaise and I like when my veggies are pickled but it was still really good. I will be back to try some phở, rice and noodle dishes!

I wanted a quick bite to go so I tried the lemongrass chicken bahn mi sandwich. Only 5 minutes later it was ready. I liked how it’s wrapped in a sheet of clean white paper and secured with a rubber band. Opened it up. Looks and smells good! Lots of cilantro grated carrot, cucumber. Unfortunately, the first bite was disappointing. The bread was soft, not crispy like a fresh French roll should be. And the meat texture was like it has been reheated in the microwave. Also the veg didn’t have enough pickled flavor and the long cilantro stems were difficult to bite off. So maybe I’m a bahn mi snob? This didn’t impress me, but it was only $ 5. Is there anywhere in town with a great bahn mi? Because this was only good.

We love this place. It’s our come to place on those crazy evenings when we haven’t made dinner. Food is fresh and healthy. Service is fast. The owner is a very nice guy. Love that it is a local family owned and operated restaurant.

Visiting Bend and found Dangs on Unilocal looking for vegetarian friendly restaurants. The Bun with tofu was very tasty, tofu had a good marinade was lightly fried and delicious. If you have never had Bun the dressing is made from a fish sauce so strict vegetarians should avoid this. The vegetarian phở was very good with tons of fresh veggies, broccoli, zucchini, shiitake and button mushrooms, baby corn, cabbage, green onion and more. I ordered that on my second trip here as well as a togo order of the yakisoba with tofu to eat for dinner at the hotel. I left it sitting out so I wouldn’t have to heat it up in the styrofiam container, considering it was all veggies I wasn’t worried about anything spoiling… Well I suppose I’ll find out the answer to that here soon, because as I sat in the dark enjoying my yakisoba and a movie three bites in I bite into what I thought was fried tofu in the dark, but the taste and texture immediately told me it wasn’t. I turn on the light to further investigate and discover they made a mistake on my order and gave me chicken(yuk). Anyways that sucked, luckily I had some muffins and chips to munch on. Check your order before heading out is my recommendation.

Ordered take out. Customer service was blah. I ordered phở to go. They didn’t give me any sprouts or basil. Also Very pricy for the amount of food they give.

This place is rapidly becoming one of our go-to favorites. We came in on a busy night and service was still prompt and friendly. The phở and the noodle bowls are tasty. The smoothies are also delicious — try the pineapple!

For us, Dang’s is the only Vietnamese food in town — super clean, super friendly, and very accommodating of special requests. I moved to Bend from Dallas-Fort Worth where there are a billion Vietnamese cafes, all awesome. Dang’s tastes like those places. Bun … yum.

This phở is so phocking good! Definitely worth it! We always get the lean brisket with extra veggies. Sometimes when we order to go they don’t understand the extra veggies part. I like to watch CNN or whatever random shows they have on their two really big tvs in there.

Overall opinion — Dangs’ Needs more servers. We went for a dinner at Dangs after work mid week. We were surprised by just how popular this little Vietnamese restaurant is. This was our first time. It seemed like the majority of patrons were regulars. They were greeted by name by the owner. The restaurant quickly filled up. Dangs also has a booming take out business. At any time while we were their there was 2 – 5 orders waiting to be picked up. We ordered an appetizer of wonton dumplings which came quickly and were good. Despite the restaurant being busy our orders came promptly. Although okay — our experience wasn’t great. Our first complaint was that CNN was playing loudly on two TVs show-casing political stories that interrupted our conversation. Our meals featuring chicken and pork were dry over cooked and the soup was luke warm not hot. The presentation was nice but the taste wasn’t great. The exception was the shrimp which were cooked great and very tasty. It seemed that there were not enough servers. We couldn’t get our drinks refilled. We tried to flag down someone to get boxes and our ticket which took a long while. Tables were empty and uncleared while new customers came in and waited for a clean table. Tip: try the shrimp

The meal met our expectations! Very filling and great prices. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary and the service was normal. I would return! We have a lot of phở restaurants in Seattle and I would rate the flavor as average. The veggie pad thai had a sweet flavor to it and was generous with the amount of veggies.

Staff has no knowledge of service etiquette! Sat there for about 30 minutes with not even a glass of water or a ‘Hi, how are you this evening?‘ Not coming back

Seriously the BEST phở I have ever had. We are from California and were needing Phở cuz we weren’t feeling well. This place is amazing. The veggie salad rolls were delicious. The Phở was fresh, delicious and very tasty. We are coming back tomorrow because it’s so good. You can’t go wrong here.

Awesome phở! The broth is a real deal! This is becoming our favorite Asian restaurant fast! We recently moved from Portland and had a few favorite Vietnamese restaurants there. We didn’t expect to find good Asian food in Bend but pleasantly surprised to find Dang’s!!! Their menu looks good! Can’t wait to try their BBQ!

Very surprised to find such a tasty spot in Bend. For a long time my husband and I thought our half way point(Bend) lunch stop between visits across the state was limited to fast food. Fortunately, rather than going to the fast food joint that shares the general lot with Dang’s, we stopped here instead. Glad we did! Servers were polite and quick and the food was much better than we could have hoped for. My phở was very flavorful, though next time I will only order the brisket and not the meatballs(personal preference is all, they were both tasty). My husband enjoyed his stir fried something(can’t remember exactly what it was) and had no complaints. We’d both come back, although with our recent move Bend is no longer on the way to anything we’ll be likely to visit again soon.

The food here is really great! Very authentic and tasty. Great atmosphere as well. I would be back for sure in here. The price is very reasonable so I don’t get why some people leave a comment about how overpriced this place is. Plus, the owners of the restaurant is very friendly. I recommend their Pad thai and Yakisoba for the stir fry noodles! And also their Vietnamese crispy crêpe! Try as well their thai iced not gonna lie but their thai iced tea is the best in town! Nice job! Keep supporting local restaurants.

YAAAAAS. Finally a restaurant that advertises cultural food and amazing customer service, and you actually get BOTH. I tried Dang’s recently and fell in love. I was greeted and helped by a very bubbly young girl that knew her stuff. So happy I gave you guys a shot and will continue to give my business here and tell my friends all about you guys. Literally the best Thai food in Bend for sure.

My absolute favorite phở ! The broth is so rich in flavor & nothing beats the fried garlic bits floating throughout the entire. The service is speedy & the food comes out piping hot — the best ! I recommend their squid & beef phở as well as their chicken wings. The Vietnamese coffee is also super yum. While the restaurant seriously lacks ambiance. The authentic flavors make up for the stiff chairs and squished-together table.
