History

Established in 2007.

MacTek is a locally owned business that has been ran and owned by Andrew Gorman for over 7 years. As Apple products have increased in popularity so has the need for more businesses specializing in Apple repairs. For many businesses, as they grow, they tend to lose some quality. As we have expanded we have maintained the same quality and care that we are known for. Our main philosophy is helping people better understand their computers with a smile :) So often people in the computer industry can be hard to talk to, not us! We will always be friendly and efficient.

The last nine years I have been enjoying the finer things Bend has to offer. From helping fix computers out of my garage to teaching math to High School students I have had many enjoyable jobs. But it wasn’t until I took the big leap of starting my own business that I realized how much I truly enjoyed working with Apple products. I have tinkered around with computers for the majority of my life, and Apple products in particular are a joy to use and to work on. Between my degree in computer science and years of experience under my belt I find that there isn’t a problem I can’t fix.

Most importantly I love relieving people’s technological suffering by getting their computers back up and running as fast as possible all with a smile.
