I’ll never take my clothes here again. Somehow I ended up with a police uniform shirt from Philadelphia police highway patrol. I’m sure that cop would like to have all of his shirts. They lost one of my uniform shirts and destroyed a pair of uniform pants. Never again. I’ll go back to my original dry cleaner. The only reason I went to zips was for the same day turn around. Next time I’ll wait the few days at a better place

I have been coming to this Zip’s location for a few years. They used to be good. The prices were good, quick service and clothes looked nice. Somehow over the past six months or so the quality has declined to the point of jumping the shark. I have received many shirts with wrinkles pressed into the collar and cuffs. Pants that are pressed on the legs but not on seams… looks like a second seam and with the tops still wrinkled. I also can count on broken buttons on shirts. If I have a button down collar with a half button remaining I obviously cannot wear it. I’m not sure why the steep decline in quality but it seems as if they have people that don’t care or are not trained correctly. I only would recommend if you are in a pinch and don’t care they use a waffle iron. I am looking somewhere else to go and will gladly pay more or wait longer to get clothes back that don’t embarrass me when I wear them to work. Zip’s I am disappointed.

For some reason they keep raising the prices, not sure why the place is always busy. For the most part I’m happy. My complaint would be they never follow the crease in the slacks. It’s sloppy and just plain unacceptable, there is no reason to have 2 crease lines in the front of my pants. They usually do a good job on the shirts, especially the uniform, always ask for heavy starch and military crease in the patch area. It is convenient that they guarantee next day. I’ll return some unless they raise the prices again, for that price I’ll just go to a mom and pop cleaner.

I love here. Fast, cheap and my clothes always look nice. I get a text when my clothes are ready. Love that they are done within 24 hours

I have been a customer of Zips for a few years and recently stopped. I would take my shirts, suits and pants in multiple times a week. Everything was fine in the beginning, but lately whoever is pressing the clothes is sloppy. I had stray creases in my shirts and pants on a regular basis. I guess you get what you pay for. Cheaper pricing lacks the quality attention that either cleaners provide.

Felt compelled to leave a great review to counter all these bad ones. I’ve never had a thing go missing, poor creases, or a damaged shirt, and I’ve taken over 200 things there since I’ve started with Zips. Their alterations are so great, though I’ve only ever given them things to stitch back up and not actual alterations that require hemming me up. Love this place all around. Especially their timeliness!

I’m a glutton for punishment when it comes to this place. Time after time I brought shirts, slacks, suits here and each time I get home, look at the clothes and sure enough, they all look like they were ironed with a hot brick. Do yourself a favor, spend the little extra money and take your clothes elsewhere. *********update******* Unbeknownst to me, since there were no signs inside or out that indicated an increase in price, nor did the cashier inform me until after the transaction was done but this zips is no longer $ 1.99 for any garment. I must’ve stopped in there during their transition bc once I got outside, I looked up and discover that their $ 1.99 sign was taken down. For the price they are charging now ~$ 2.50 or so, you could get a much better dry cleaning job done elsewhere.

I never write reviews, but this place is so frustrating that I had to provide feedback. I live in NY and deliberately wait to bring my dry cleaning home to my parents because of the prices and services Zips usually provides. This time I brought in almost 20 pieces which is normal for me to bring to Zips. As I packed my clothes for my return home I noticed my brand new Tahari jacket was destroyed. It was in perfect condition when I sent the item in. When it was returned, there were noticeable fabric pulls across the entire jacket. I’ve worn this jacket once. Tahari does not make cheap quality clothing. When I I brought it to the manager’s attention, he blamed me for using the jacket, wanted to send the jacket out at MYEXPENSE of $ 60, and claimed ZERO responsibility. I’m giving 1 start because Zips has a great business model, but the manager of this location is a horrible representative of the company. I doubt I will ever use their services again.

been going here for several months, $ 1.99 dry cleaning for any garment and $ 1.39 for shirts. not only is that dirt cheap, they deliver same day. in by 9am, ready by 5pm. in after 9am, ready by 5pm the following day. i stopped going to my regular dry cleaners that is only a block away from my house and drive 20 minutes to here for price and speed of service. but as of 10÷18÷14 they raised shirts from $ 1.39 to $ 1.69. that’s almost a 25% hike. I have to drop them a star and rethink me coming back or only come here for one day service emergencies

Yes its cheap but I would rather pay more for ensuring that you’ll get your clothes back! I recently took a few pieces of items and counted with the girl how many items I had. I came to pick them up and somehow magically had 1 less item of clothing. I called to explain how I went in there with 6 items, only to leave with 5. They had a refund slip on there marked after the time I left the store so whoever tagged my clothes changed the slip in the system so I’m out 1 shirt and the money I spent to get it cleaned. Take items you don’t care about here, otherwise its not worth the heartache and frustration!

Terrible! Several pieces of my clothing were ruined here. The owner said he would send me a check for the ruined items(after arguing with me and being very rude about it). I told him how much he owed and when I received the check, he actually shorted me $ 47. Don’t go here!

ABOLSUTELYHORRIBLEEXPRIENCE! They damage a pair of my pants, but I let it go. Then they damaged two addiional pairs of pants. I brought it to the attention of the dry cleaners and the manger had nothing but excuses, blaming how old my pants are and did absolutely nothing to make it right. My pants did not come out in the same condition that they went in. Such a disgrace!!! I guess you get what you pay for. WOULDNOTRECOMMEND
