Abacus Tax Service has been a Berkeley business for more than 50 years. Times may have changed and tax law has gotten worse, but our committment to personal service has not.
Today, Abacus’ clients tend to be local business owners, university students and faculty with complicated visa issues, individuals with trusts and/or stock options and foreigners filing US tax returns.

Henry A.
Manager
Abacus is under new management since October 2015. The current manager and Enrolled Agent is Henry Amado.
Mr. Amado has been a Principal at SEC Registered investment firms and has assisted several companies in valuation and sales of the business and business assets. His tax knowledge includes tax reporting for foreign nationals and foreign corporations and he provides tax consultations for business and individual taxpayers seeking to reduce their US tax liability.
