Inder is a great guy, kind, funny, accommodating, easy to work with, creative, and smart! I have been using their printing and po box service for years and have always experienced gracious customer service and professional work from the Inder and his team. Looking forward to doing business with Inder for many years to come!

Disclaimer: I’m a novice when it comes to print shops. My review is based on how effectively the work was done and how satisfied I was with the process.
My team required small 2inch x 1inch stickers to place on devices. I called Fast Imaging and talked to a young lady who listened to my situation. I had these stickers printed by someone else and so we already had the design and shape, we just needed someone to print them out.
She had informed me to email it them the design and specify how many I needed, what size I wanted it to be, and how soon I needed it by. I stopped by the next morning, met Inder in person and had the job done swiftly. We were very satisfied; my team was happy, so now they wanted waterproof stickers as well.
I emailed Inder the next day and let him know I needed 100 of the same stickers, except waterproof. He told me my options (white background, black background), how long it would take, and what it would cost. Now something to note, this job cost more since I needed more stickers and required them to be waterproof. I’m guessing due to the amount of effort and cost this job required, the «pay-​first» policy kicked in — no big deal for us since we liked how the first job was handled and felt the price to be reasonable.
I then stopped by to pick up the waterproof stickers a few days later and so far, everything is working as intended. The stickers were already cut for me in both instances, they were easy to peel, and were contained in big envelopes.
Overall, I had a pleasant experience with FastImaging — doing business with them was quick and easy. There were no complicated systems, no hidden charges, just one human talking to a fellow human.

Terrible customer service all the way around at all of their locations. I had work done at the alameda location but needed to get in touch with the owner Hinder and was told to call the Berkeley store. No phone number was given to me i had to obtain this info myself which is no problem just poor customer service and then when I call the Berkeley store the employees/​owner are rude there as well. Below is a review Unilocal thought was not useful. Man do i disagree…
I am extremely frustrated with Fast Imaging. They were recommended to me by a local business for a sign with table names and assignments for our wedding this coming weekend. We have gone back and forth way too many times on a proof for silly mistakes, like COMPLETELY mis-​spelling my and my fiancé’s names, even though I sent them via email where they could have simply copy/​pasted the names. They somehow managed to get our last name correct, however, the next round of proofs had our last name spelled wrong! The formatting has also been very odd – one group of names would be bolded, others not, then they keep «fixing» things and making other things incorrect. I’m very hopeful that the final product comes out ok and on time.

They printed my business cards super fast at the last minute on good paper with high quality ink and reasonable rates. Very friendly and accommodating staff!

When I was looking for a place to get business mail a few years ago, I called several places in the area. Pretty much everywhere else I called quoted what seemed like ridiculously high monthly costs and/​or the people answering were rude or had no idea about the service they provided.
When I called Fast Imaging and got the price, I was surprised at the reasonable cost, so I went with them.
I’m really glad I did, as they have gone above and beyond regular mail service, making my work life a little bit easier, which I greatly appreciate.
Seeing Jocelyn and Indar when I go to get my mail softens the blow of not getting any million $ checks in the mail, even with Indar insisting on putting that damn tree in my way.
The only thing missing (I have to put something!) is weekend hours. Or maybe they are open on Saturday mornings, but since I don’t get up til noon on weekends, I can’t say.
I highly recommend this place. Just stop stealing my million $ checks!

Inder was helpful in helping me with an unfinished brochure. He did some basic illustration work on it, and he said «don’t print all of them, in case you need to change something». That made sense and I trusted the document was saved in his computer since I continued to be a regular customer, bringing other projects to him. My postcards never matched the original color, but I lived with it. He was chronically late on all projects, so he gave me a discount.
Upon returning to the brochure to update mistakes (not caught by him), I was told the file it was worked on had been deleted and all that was left was a PDF copy of the brochure, which could not be opened with anything except photoshop. I paid to have the document updated AGAIN, and was sent again a PDF. I was never able to get a «working» copy even after he suggested I «not print all of them». I paid twice for a brochure that I had to then pay someone else again to basically re-​do.
He means well to help, but he’s understaffed, and completely unprofessional in that he would always either be late or not show up at all when he would make an appointment with me. When bringing tis to both his and his wife’s attention, I got defensiveness, not even an apology for the lack of consideration.
Won’t be using their business again.

I read all the reviews before I decided to go to Fast Imaging. I was not disappointed. Inder was cordial and gave me a very fair price. I will definitely be back for any printing needs. They provide wonderful customer service.

This goes to Inder and team from Fast Imaging! Coming in to save the day. This is the third print job Inder has done for us. He is a true happiness hustler providing quotes for ½ to ¹⁄₃ the price in comparison to FedEx. He’s super awesome and willing to go the extra mile by calling and communicating well. It’s amazing how much he gets done while he and team have a million other jobs. It’s also a win win win to solve one of the paint points our company has had with expensive printing. For future printing needs:

Totally lame.
Missed deadlines, incorrect proofs, although detailed specs provided from the get-​go, no call backs despite sending emails and leaving messages.

I want a job well done at a fair price. Time and time again, Inder gets the job done with no fuss or muss.
His operation is broad scope and he’s significantly more skilled than his competition.
I look forward to many, many more years of business with this fellow.

Honestly, Inder is amazing. I needed specially printed name tag inserts in black and white in January for a retreat, and he was so thoughtful at the store and made sure I didn’t leave before showing me a sample of the finished product on the correct paper thickness so that the ink wouldn’t bleed through (since this was a double sided print).
Fast turnout rate (but go early just in case), and Inder is super knowledgeable about printing in general. Also, he is super nice and funny.

Inder is just the best.. he is very experienced and makes all of our prints look like a professional did it by themselves. no matter what our expectations are always met and met perfectly. he always has the prints done in just a few days.

We needed a project poster printed for our zoning application and after calling three shops, we decided to use Fast Imaging. Their price was slightly less than the other two shops, but mostly they gave the impression that they knew exactly what I needed. Inder even called me back after hours to give me some additional info which reduced my turn around time. They had my electronic file on Tuesday morning and I was able to pickup up my 3′ x 2′ zoning poster printed directly on a durable board by Wednesday afternoon. I’d definitely recommend their services and I’ll be back for my next project.

Best copy service I’ve experienced! Inder is very responsive to email inquiries and following up with orders. He gave good advice on selecting the best paper for the job and worked past business hours to finish a rush order. I was very happy with the final product and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality product at a great price!

We brought in one 30×40 illustration to be scanned on a Saturday. Inder had a great attitude but said he was swamped. He asked us to leave it with him and come back on Monday for the scan so he could spend time on it and get it right. Sounded great.
We returned on Monday and he admitted he had not spent any time on it yet. So he did a very rushed job while we waited. When we got home we found the file was full of very dark streaks that couldn’t be removed with curves. So the result was unusable.
I’ll add a star because he was so personable but he totally let us down.

Was hosting a Hackathon and had to get 3 vinyl banners ready in less than 3 days. The colours came out really well and the poster lasted through all the rain and wind. I would definitely recommend them!

I’m a personal assistant and admittedly, kind of a newb when it comes to the printing world. So, my boss sent me a .pdf of double sided bookmarks she needed printed and cut so we could laminate ‘em. Easy, right?
Well, except apparently the front and back of the document weren’t exactly centered with each other… which wasn’t noticed until after cutting. That was an issue on our end, but I had no clue to look for it. And the girl at Fast Imaging cut them totally crooked. Once I got home, I noticed that they were completely unusable.
So, I had to go back, if only for the totally crooked cutting.
The second time, they were super helpful! He actually straightened out my document so they’d look good, reprinted and did a stellar job cutting, at no charge. Great customer service! Five stars for my second trip there. I really appreciated their going above and beyond to make it right.
Lost a star for crooked cutting the first time and for not giving a sample before printing it all. Also, it’s a bit expensive. The place down the street will give you a better price and also has great customer service.

I came in today to get my portfolio printed and binded, since I was in a bit of a rush, I forgot to tell the employee, named Jocelyn (I’m sorry if I’m misspelling!) to bind my portfolio on the landscape side, which is totally my fault!
So when I went back to get my portfolio I was shocked that it was binded the wrong way, which again, was totally my fault. And Jocelyn, sorry again if it’s the wrong spelling, fixed it for me at no cost! That was really nice of her and I’m really glad she understood that it was my fault and she printed another one andon binded again for no cost! And this also done around closing time and she did not rush me at all for something that was my fault.
All in all, thanks for helping me out especially since I’m a student! :)

Fast Imaging /​Inder are simply awesome! Inder’s commitment to high quality service was just amazing. He even met with us on the 4^th of July to look at the proofs with us to ensure we could get everything ready in time for our conference.
After calling around and getting quotes from a few different print shops around Berkeley, we found Fast Imaging offering us the best price AND the best turn-​around time. In fact, no-​one else came near the price and turn-​around time! We needed the following printed: 700 60page booklets, 4 large banners, and 600 flyers. After getting the designs to Inder, he sanity checked them with us, made a couple of suggestions for improvement for the banner, and generated just beautiful proofs. Really like his process where he gets his customers to sign off on the proofs as what is agreed upon to be delivered. And, indeed, on very short turn-​around, and delivered to us (!) we got all our materials. All in great shape.
I couldn’t recommend Fast Imaging /​Inder for your printing services any higher!

Summary:
This is the epitome of customer service. Restaurants, cafes, clothing stores, gyms, barbers — they can all learn from Inder and his dedication to providing excellent service. This guy truly cares about his customers and he’s made printing his craft.
My Experience:
I needed a quick print for an art portfolio book. The portfolio had graphics, photographs, and text, so I was looking for a printer with an Inkjet printer for higher quality images. Many local printers only use laser printing, but Fast Imaging has both!
I came in at about 4:00pm to do some test printing. The employees told me i could test print a couple of my pages to make sure the colors came out the way I wanted, but to print the portfolio booklet, I would have to wait a full day. They told me the test prints would be done in an hour. I left and came back at about 5:50pm.
Thats when I met owner, Inder. He personally took my printing file, printed several more test prints for me on different kinds of paper. Recommended different book binding options for me. Personally took the time and printed and bound my book himself, all while juggling phone calls and handling his employees. He talked me through the whole process and he gave me an amazing price on it. By the time I walked out of the store, it was 6:20pm. YOU GUYS. THE STORE CLOSES AT 6:00PM…this guy took the time to print and bind my book AFTER STORE HOURS. who does that? Most printing places (or any store for that matter) will say «sorry come back tomorrow and we can get it done for you.» Not Inder. He’s going to do everything in his power to make sure you get what you need.
Bottom Line:
Easy choice. Get your prints at Fast imaging.
