Dr. Culver is a gem. And believe me, I’m not a person who likes most dentists. At one point, while out of state, I was advised I needed several implants. This was in Oregon, where I would never return due to many social problems, but still, the dentist who made this pronouncement seemed like a nice guy.
So I procrastinated for years about my teeth, before being convinced by friends that I must visit Dr. Culver and get his opinion. Thank god I did, because he didn’t agree at all about the implants. And while other dentists had always made me feel worried about my teeth, he made me feel confident. I’m an older person who started with dental work in the early 50’s and can tell you — Culver is the real thing. He repaired, filled, and fixed all my teeth without one implant, and what’s really wonderful about him is that he loves his work. He exudes real interest in each situation, as if he were a young dentist just out of the starting gate.
In addition, he was more than willing to forgo the epinephrine part of the pain-​killer, which I cannot handle well. He seemed to take real pleasure in co-​operating with me, rather than resisting my requests. Another thing — I have friends who take their kids to ‘kid dentists’ so called, who often use a general anesthetic so as to ‘protect’ the child from trauma. I would question the medical soundness of doing this, and would recommend you try Dr. Culver, because I believe he might be able to do the job by simply being kindly and careful.

Good good people! Very kind staff who explains everything as work is being done. Also painless. This is my second dentist. My first dentist Dr. Wong passed away in 2010 he had been my dentist for 20 years. I thought I would never find a dentist as good as him. I just lucked up on Dr. Culvers office as I was taking a friend to an appointment in the same building. I looked across the hall and the people seemed friendly so I walked in. It’s been a great success. I actually look forward to my dentist appointments!

I’ve been going to Dr. Jeff Culver for nearly 30 years, and I think he is the best! During this time I’ve had occasion to see other dentists (out of town, specialists, etc.) and no one even comes close to Dr. Culver in skill, kindness, courtesy, and COMFORT in the chair and office.

I’ve been going to Dr. Culver for over 10 years but never truly appreciated him until this week. Short story: fell off bicycle Saturday, ran face into stump. Seriously chipped (as in, call me Cletus) two of my front teeth. Called his assistant Maria on Monday AM. Was in by Tuesday AM. Wednesday AM at work I dared people to tell me which ones had been fixed. They couldn’t. The man is an artist, and has great taste in motorcycles. I should add that he also did a great job with my implant 5 years ago.

Sadly, after many years of going to Dr. Culver I have had to find someone new. Dr. Culver started out being patient and trying to help with a TERRIBLE mouth full of problems, but in the last 5 years he has been overcharging me by hundreds possibly a couple of thousand dollars. I found out by calling my insurance plan and they commented that he owed me a refund for all the years I had been charged a «co-​pay». Turns out I have 100% coverage. In addition, the lab he uses must not be too hot, because I am now faced with replacing two more crowns that were both done within the last 5 years. They have both failed at the cementing areas. This after replacing 2 other crowns in recent visits. I will be going to Dr. Dukes who is a parent at my school and who has a great track record.

I saw this fellow a few times. He is technically very skilled, but I wasn’t so comfortable with his sales techniques.
Some of the procedures he recommended didn’t seem necessary to me, so I didn’t follow his advice. Years later, those procedures haven’t proven necessary.
No longer my dentist.

Dr. Culver is an incredible dentist and he has a great staff. Appointments are taken on time and everything is done very efficiently. There is usually plenty of on-​street, no meter parking just a couple of blocks away. For painless dental work and a very relaxed, professional atmosphere, Dr. Culver is the doctor to see.

Dr. Culver was my very first dentist and I remember him as a kind and gentle doctor. I am going back after years of being traumatized by other random in-​network dentists and will update this post soon, with a current opinion of him and his staff. Wish me luck!
