I went to Karin for a lymphatic massage and she was excellent, she also took care of my back. She really knows what she is doing, she is professional and caring at the same time. No need to mention that the massage worked even better than I expected, I’m going to book more sessions soon! As a plus she is a very nice and warm person, you feel comfortable the minute you enter her studio! Also the booking process was very easy and quick! Impressive thing since she is doing all by herself! To truly recommend!

After a having a stressful few months and a history of back problems that worsen with stress, I decided to treat myself to a massage. Being new to the Bay I didn’t know of any massage therapists in the area, but I’m glad I came across Karin on Unilocal!She was very warm and accommodating, and made sure to ask what I wanted/​needed from the massage. The massage was just what I needed and I came away with almost no soreness in the days afterward. I’m seeing her again soon and I can’t wait — I highly recommend her!

Having never had a massage before, I was apprehensive about whether a 1-​hour session would help me with the neck, shoulder, and back pain that I’ve been experiencing as a result of soccer injuries and wonky sleeping positions. Now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long!

I saw Karin for the first time Sunday after hearing about her from a friend. She was warm and friendly. She asked me several good questions about my preferences and listened carefully to what I had to say.
I have a tricky back and pelvis and she was able to negotiate the bulging disk in my lower back while addressing the big knots in the muscles of my upper back, two sections that require vastly different amounts of pressure.
I am looking forward to my next appointment with her.

I came across Karin’s page as I searched for local CMT’s who had experience with lymphatic drainage massage. Based on the number of 5 star reviews I was comfortable booking an appointment with her despite not having a personal/​friend reference (which is normally my preference). Booking an appointment was easy and after our initial meeting I was confident Karin had the knowledge to assist me on my journey to recovery. In 7 calendar days I will have seen Karin for 3 massage sessions and I’m feeling 100% better. She will definitely be my go-​to CMT even after my recovery process is complete.

I recently had the pleasure of a 2 hour session with Karin, and I left with that warm, melted feeling we could all use a lot more of. If you’ve never tried a longer session I highly recommend it!
All the good stuff mentioned in my first review still applies :-). Karin is a loving soul with strong hands and a friendly, upbeat personality.

There is a difference among massage therapists, Karin is one of the good ones. Sometimes having a massage can be a luxury or treat and sometimes it is medically important for your well being. Karin is a great therapist in both cases.
If you are recovering from surgery consider contacting Karin for a lymphatic drainage massage. This type of massage can make a huge difference in the speed and comfort of your recovery. Not all massage therapists do this type of work and this is one of Karin’s specialties. When my husband was going through cancer treatment and recovering from multiple surgeries the massage sessions he had with Karin were an important contribution to improving his health and well being.
I’ve had several sessions with Karin over the years and every one was a valuable use of my time and money. When I was experiencing pain in my back because I was sleeping in a chair at the hospital next to my husband’s bed, a massage from Karin made all the difference in my ability to function. First things first, Karin does all her own booking. I nearly got scammed by some other site saying they were handling her appointments. Thankfully I called her to check. Don’t believe it, call her direct yourself! She’s a joy to chat with to boot!
That said, Karin is a fantastic massage therapist! I go to her whenever I need to relax the stress of the workday, or the workout. Her charming location and personality make for a great experience. Bye bye stress headaches!

I’ve had a lot of excellent bodywork done over the years and Karin is definitely in the top of the class! I came to her to try out a lymphatic massage and it really seems to have helped some of my chronic sinus issues, as well as general stress. I’ve had two wonderful massages from Karin and plan on going back regularly. She has a kind and easy going personality which is coupled with strong and capable hands that both work and soothe my muscles. This makes for a dynamo massage session that leaves feeling relaxed and puts my whole body at ease.

I’ve been feeling really stressed so yesterday I decided it was time to get a massage. I came across Karin on Unilocal and based on all the 5 star reviews I decided to book a 2 hour session. That was the best decision I’ve made in a long time — the massage was amazing! She is truly talented and really cares about your relaxation and comfort. I wanted a deep tissue massage since I sit at a computer all day and have lots of tension in my shoulders and neck. She was able to go deep in the muscles to get those stubborn knots out, but she still kept it relaxing and mostly pain free. I slept amazing last night and I still feel knot free and relaxed into the next day (major plus)!
Karin runs the practice out of her home which is very welcoming. Street parking was easy to find. We had a conversation before my massage about my lifestyle and what I wanted to get out of the session. I appreciate the fact she took the time to listen to my needs and build a custom massage around them. She is the first massage therapist who told me before the session that this is my time so if at any time I want her to do anything different then just ask.

This is a review for Karin’s new endeavor doing love literacy sessions, rather than massage. ;) Karin is offering these amazing coaching/​healing/​strategy sessions to help people find more love and connection in their lives. During my hour with her, she «read» me and my tendencies like a book, and gave me some spot on suggestions on how I could thrive more in friendship and romance. Totally recommended.

I recently had a small stroke and Karin has been helping me in my recovery with massage therapy. The massage has been great on my road to recovery both with therapeutic touch and relaxation that comes from it. Karin has been extremely flexible in working with me and dealt gracefully with several last minutes changes when I had to request to move something up a few minutes. You won’t be disappointed if you give her a call!

Karin is AWESOME! She’s so calm and nurturing and has a magical sense for what needs work. I’m pretty sure that she released, like, five years worth of stress from my shoulders in a one-​hour session.
