Business Owner

Hamid Yazdan Panah grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is passionate about serving his community. As an Iranian refugee, Mr. Yazdan Panah understands the challenges faced by those immigrating to a new country. He holds a bachelors degree in political science from the University of California, Davis and a Juris Doctor from the Mcgeorge School of Law.

Hamid has always been interested in law as a means to assist those who need help. During his time at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Hamid participated in the school’s Immigration Clinic, centered on providing undocumented and under privileged individuals with free legal assistance.

After graduation Hamid worked at the Dolan Law Firm, one of the première Plaintiffs firms in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Now as a solo attorney, he hopes to continue to assist the community he grew up in.

As a client, the first & foremost thing you are looking in an attorney is his ability to listen carefully and reflect what has been said back to the speaker. And whatever ground reality you are standing on, he should be able to explain it to you accurately in the most humane way possible rather than non– concerning maniacally way. Mr. Hamid is the one with this additional quality, quite seldom to find in many lawyers. He not only took time to listen all about my case & gave me relevant advise but also follow up with me for the updates etc, which is… again, the second most important thing you want from the attorney, the empathy & concern for the client. Now i know who to contact if need a lawyer and who will advise me with value in it.

Before my husband came to the US, Hamid helped me prepare a response to the foreign consulate when he had difficulties at his K-​1 fiancé visa interview in Delhi. Two weeks later my husband arrived in the US! Hamid then reviewed our I-​485 paperwork and coached us for the green card interview, and our experience with him was nothing but positive. He is not only knowledgeable and responsive, but sincere and compassionate as well. We submitted our paperwork in June and passed our interview in December — green card in hand within 6 months! Hamid’s mock interview proved invaluable as the interview went exactly as we expected it to — no bumps though he had prepared us for potential difficulties just in case. Even though I have left the Bay area I will continue to consult Hamid for any future issues — excellent immigration attorney!

We contacted Hamid to help us resolve an Immigration matter. I wished to immigrate to the US to marry my Fiancé but I was found to be ineligible and my application was refused. We supplied Hamid with the documentation pertaining to our case, he wrote a letter to the consulate and my application was re-​instated. Throughout the process Hamid was very responsive and answered any queries in a timely manner. He kept us informed of what was happening and what to expect, coached us on how to respond to the consulate, and asked to be kept informed even after the matter was cleared.
