History

Established in 1946.

Homer Lee established our shop at 1420 University Ave in 1946, and we are proud to remain a family owned and operated business to this day. His son, Wilton Lee, took over the business in 1971. The third generation grandson, Jared, continues to work at the shop to this day. We are honored to have served the Berkeley and East Bay community for over six decades and look forward to giving you the same quality product which we have provided since our establishment.

Business Owner

Wilton is a native of Berkeley, CA. Graduated from Berkeley High School, class of 1965, and received his AA Degree in Horticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1967. He is also the current President of the Master Florists Association and serves on the Retail Council for the Society of American Florists. He has owned and operated Lee’s Florist since 1971, after taking it over from his father, Homer Lee.
