Specific step-​by-​step plans to resolve common parenting challenges. Consultations are by phone and/​or email, very flexible, so as to fit parents’ schedules.

History

Established in 1984.

I have counseled parents of young children for 30 years. I was trained in this at «The Warmline» of Cedar-​Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles (in 1984).

I have worked in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1986 but, as I do the consultations by phone (and recently more ad more by email), I’ve helped parents throughout the country and even some who live in Europe.

I have been counseling parents of young children for 30 years.

My professional training is in Clinical Social Work.

Training:

Master of Social Work in Clinical Casework, Wurzweiler School of Social Work Yeshiva University, NY (1979 — 81)

Family and Child Psychotherapy Internship, including training in parenting counseling at «The Warmline,» a parenting counseling phone service at Cedar –Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles (1984 — 85).

I live in Berkeley with my husband and have two grown children.
