Specialties

In the summer of 2016, we are offering Spanish, French, and Italian language classes for all levels of students. Our classes are taught in small groups of three to six people in a cozy office in downtown Berkeley. All our instructors hold advanced degrees in languages. We provide snacks and drinks for the first and last class each semester. Please check our new summer schedule below.

History

Established in 2013.

Polyglottist was founded by a language enthusiast and a former UC Berkeley language instructor who always had a dream of a language school where many different languages and cultures are taught. Polyglottist started with just two languages and now we have five.

Meet the Business Owner

Olga S.

Business Owner

I am a founder and director of the Polyglottist Language Academy in downtown Berkeley where we offer outstanding instruction in different languages. I hold PhD in French from UC Berkeley. I have formal pedagogical training in teaching languages, cultures, and literature from UC Berkeley and extensive experience tutoring in different languages to professionals and high school, undergraduate, and graduate students living in the Bay area.

I am looking forward to share all my knowledge about languages and cultures with you!
