I am fluent in all current mortgage loan programs including FHA, VA, HARP (for underwater home-​owners) along with conventional & jumbo residential mortgage loans.

Working as a wholesale Account Executive for Washington Mutual provided me with a solid foundation in underwriting and how to package loans for quick, clean approval and fast closing. I approach putting together a loan from the underwriters perspective. What are they going to need, what questions will the underwriter have when they look at the loan. this allows me to package up the loan thoroughly answering the underwriter’s questions before they have the chance to ask. For my clients, this means that if I submit their loan, it will be approved quickly with minimal conditions. This translates into an stress-​free transaction

History

Established in 2007.

Established in 2007 I started HP Investments, Inc and North Bay Realty & Loans after the housing crash in 2007. Washington Mutual had closed their wholesale lending division and I knew that I wanted to continue to work in Real Estate & mortgage lending.

Together with my business partner, Jeff Phillips, we have built our Real Estate and loan business since 2007 and cover all of the bay area. We have an office in the North Bay, East Bay, Peninsula & the South Bay.

We are Real Estate and Mortgage Brokers that love the Bay Area and helping people buy their first home, their 5^th home, refinance or sell. We love negotiating hard for our clients and work diligently to get them the best outcome.

Business Owner

Quentin Hyde Graduated from SDSU in 1992 and spent 4 years on Active Duty as an Army Officer before moving back to the Bay Area where he began his profesional career in medical device sales, industrial sales, and real estate lending.

In 1996 Quentin began his real estate career as a broker and joined Washington Mutual in 2005 in order to begin working with clients to solve their loan problems by finding the right loan products for them.

In 2007, Quentin started HP Investments Inc with Jeff Phillips recognizing the importance of FHA lending in the coming years. HP Investments, Inc quickly received HUD approval to originate FHA/​VA loans and in 2008 Quentin & Jeff also started North Bay Realty & Loans. «Between the two companies there is almost no loan or Real Estate transaction that we cannot do!»,

Quentin spends his time away from work on his ‘floating’ office in Alameda, and spending time with his wife, son, and two Corgi’s.
