A trippy one of a kind only-in-Berkeley co-op artist collective that exists in and around a large pile of steel shipping containers. They celebrate Burning Man 365 days a year with music, raves, house parties, and alternative living. That means Mad Max style structures, domes, robots, pyrotechnics, and cars and other large objects hoisted onto places where you would not normally find them. Sadly, they have to move because Berkeley considers their compound a large code violation. So if you have a chance, visit them before they get back to the water for points unknown.

Artist collective, and much round the clock art being made. Most commendable use of shipping contaners around. Always some kind of drama playing out with the neighbors and/or the City of Berkeley. Cheap workspaces for rent if they vote you in.
