Is it actually open on Saturdays? I’ve been waiting for more than a hour past their 10am opening hour and all is quiet.

Wandered into this hidden gem after lunch with my sissy. The earrings just outside the front door caught my eye, and I couldn’t help but let my eyes wander over the dozens upon dozens of unique little pieces of jewelry being sold. I picked up an amazing pair of earrings in the shape of a draped American flag that sparkle just enough to catch a bystander’s eye. I’ve already gotten several compliments on them. The other pair was a really cool looking golden circle with turquoise rocks dangling on the outer rim. Looks like I bought them from a street vendor a shopping day in Tibet lol which is far from the post-burger shopping on Solano in Berkeley.

Easily my favorite Tibetan/Nepalese place to shop for jewelry & unique gifts. I informed my BFearly on that he could never do wrong with a gift from this place. I’ve even found a few things for him there. Good books on meditation. Beautiful clothes. Wonderful Tibetan family owns the place & they are very helpful. I avoid the malls & the EC Plaza as much as I can, so I really can appreciate this business. Check it out & you will not be disappointed. The owner, Lobsang, even let me bring my dog in the last time I was there. Warm & lovely place to support in this junky economy. You won’t be disappointed.
