Tomi is the realtor who is responsible for my wife and I attaining the best house we could have hoped for. She was very sensitive to our unique needs, and ours became (probably) a bigger challenge than any realtor could ever face and would NEVER WANT to face! This was due to the a difficult search and then a series of surprises which appeared after going into contract (which were to the faults of no one). These pitfalls would have disheartened most others into walking away. We were able to close thanks to her dedication to our cause, her tenacity where it was needed and her expertise in guiding us in successfully to negotiate the landscape to give us the best price available.

Tomi was a huge help to my wife and I throughout the full process of homebuying which is an extremely intimidating process in the bay area. Her knowledge of the entire process and ability to explain it to us in ways we could understand was exactly what we needed. We wrote several offers with her before we finally bought our house and each time, Tomi helped us see and understand all the different issues with each property and helped us come to our own conclusions about our offers. She is also a market-​savvy fighter during the negotiation phases and will always have your best interests at heart. She’s great!

I can’t say enough amazing things about Tomi. My husband (then boyfriend) and I had the good fortune to run into Tomi when we were driving by a property we had seen online. We decided to walk by and happened to catch Tomi on her way out. Although she had just finished an appointment, she was happy to show us the property and spent some time getting to know us and our situation. After talking with her in depth about the property, we decided not to bid on it, but a year later when we stumbled upon another property we were very interested in, we knew exactly who to call — Tomi! She happened to be at an open house of her own down the street. When she was done, she came with us to the property and did a walk-​through with us. We were so excited about the property but were about to head on vacation the next day. Knowing the timing was critical to us, we went back to her office and we worked until 11 pm to put a couple offers together so we were ready to put one in once we got more information the next day. Tomi was an incredible help to us throughout the purchase process. Being new to the area, we had no idea about the intricacies of the bidding process in the bay area, and being new to home purchasing, we had no idea what questions to ask. We didn’t need to. Tomi asked all the questions for us and recommended all the right people (mortgage broker, different inspectors/​consultants). It seemed like a scary and daunting experience but Tomi was truly our advocate and made sure we did all the proper due dilligence before signing off on the deal. She made sure we were aware of any potential issues in the house and made sure we were comfortable with the making certain decisions. We couldn’t have been happier with the help, expertise, and adivce Tomi provided along the way.
4 years later, Tomi continues to be an invaluable resource to us. Whenever I have issues with the house or have questions, I shoot Tomi an email and she is always happy to provide advice or vendor recommendations. She’s helped provide contractors for seismic retrofits, termite damage, roof repair and now our recent drainage issues. She amazes me how she is always willing to go above and beyond, even 4 years later. We know that when it is time for us to move, Tomi will be the first person we call to sell our home and to purchase our next.
