Meet the Business Owner

Howard W.

Business Owner

I was raised up in Baltimore and my father was a kosher butcher there. I worked in deli’s while going to college. I moved to Boston in 1984 and started working in a bagel/deli shop and moved my way up into management. I helped open Stage Deli in Boston. I moved to Washington DC in 1990 and was catering director in NOVA for three years and moved on to be the deli specialist for Sutton Place Gourmet for three years. In 1995 I moved over to the wholesale side of the food business selling deli products for a company out of Baltimore.

Meanwhile on the side I started a small kosher catering business on the side, catering small parties and holiday meals. Cooking everything from scratch, plattering and packaging food. My variety and recipes were well received in Silver Spring. I moved to a different wholesale company in 2006 and now left there to start this.
