Specialties

During your consultation, you will receive a personalized travel health booklet containing specific information about the place (s) you plan to visit. The pharmacist will review the following health and travel concerns with you:

Health risks associated with the place (s) you are travelling

Disease prevention

Safe practices and precautions on the place (s) you plan to visit if you are pregnant, are nursing or have a chronic health condition

Vaccination requirements dictated by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO)

Proper food and water precautions to ensure good health

Consular information sheets with travel warnings and safety conditions from the U.S. Department of State

Certain vaccinations and other preventive medications are required at least one to two months before entering certain areas of the world.

Book your travel consultation appointment as soon as you know your travel plans. The Travel Medicine Clinic at Cedars-​Sinai Health Associates offers the following vaccines for your travel needs:

Most health insurance plans do not cover travel vaccines. Our services include a low $ 60 consultation fee, and we offer vaccines at reasonable and competitive prices.

My experience here could not have been more pleasant. I needed immunizations for an upcoming trip to Thailand and the entire process was seamless.
The ladies at the front desk are polite, informative, and extremely friendly which I highly value as professionalism and common courtesy are rare these days. The clinical pharmacist was exceptionally professional as well. He answered all of my questions and provided a thorough explanation of the region, risks, and precautions that were pertinent to my trip. I really appreciate the attention to detail he exhibited and the extensive informational packet that was given to me.
I would definitely return to this clinic for any and all future trip needs and would gladly recommend friends and family to this clinic.

I came here for travel vaccinations to Africa. I have no complaints!
As soon as I walked in the office I was greeted and my wait time was no longer than 5 mins. I saw the doctor and he explained everything and answered all my questions. I also appreciate they did not try to get me to get unnecessary vaccinations. I was even shown areas were certain risk were present compared to where I was traveling. Even for the flu shot they recommended I have it but did not force me to get it at that time and with them. They also provide a booklet with info.
I was in and out within 1 hour. No hassling just great advice!

The Travel Clinic offered by Cedars-​Sinai Medical Group has outstanding services. Their Clinical Pharmacist Tasneem Vazifdar was professional, informative and above all exceedingly gracious and helpful for my upcoming trip to India.
They also offer various specialized products for sale to take on the trip to ensure that one’s trip is safe and comfortable as possible. I recommend this Clinic without reservation.

Probably the best travel medical services in the world. Full knowledge of the infectious conditions and possible altitude disease of various counties I visited, coupled with the best possible bedside manner and efficiency. A must visit clinic for mountaineers and hikers. It made a big difference in meeting and enjoying an extreme mountaineering challenge.

Professional, courteous and attentive staff, you are definitely in good hands with this clinic. The $ 60 consult fee was well worth it, with extensive information prepared specifically for my itinerary. The shots aren’t cheap, but neither is life threatening illness. They definitely did not recommend anything superfluous or extra, and perform their duties with your health as first priority. Highly recommended.

this place was great staff friendly and efficient dr hovik was charming and very bright he discussed everything very thoroughly and i learned a great deal he also was careful not to assign me vaccinations i don’t need since thevfee is based on the number of shots, im appreciate that. i wish i could give them 6 stars!!!

This place is amazing! Before I walked into their office yesterday I was a little paranoid about catching everything under the sun on my fun beach vacation, thank you internet. But after I left I felt like I was fully prepared to go on my trip.
The staff is warm, friendly and treats you like you have known them for years. They were able to accommodate the exact date and time I wanted to come in for my consultation. Within a couple of days of scheduling I had heard back from the office regarding my insurance coverage. Sadly I was not covered but I had expected that.
During the consult I was given detailed recommendations for vaccines and medications, along with food and water safety. The really impressive thing about this travel clinic is they make you feel like they care about you and your trip. They review all of your medications to make sure there are no drug interactions and she even took a couple of minutes to tell me some things about the medication I have taking for years that I did not know.
What I was really worried about was getting the actual shots but that turned out to be the fastest part! Jesus, he lives up the name as a miracle worker, was so quick and painless that I did not even know that it had happened until he told me it was over.
One of the best doctor’s office experiences I have ever had!
