Samira was amazing to work with and I couldn’t have been happier with how the invitations came out! I really appreciated her patience. We kept tweaking the invitations until we approved and she never flinched. The color proof she sends you is SO on point. You can really see how your custom invitation is going to turn out. I showed the invitations to a couple people and their response was THATS YOUR INVITATION??? Yup! They are beautiful and really set the tone for our wedding. Super super happy!!! I ordered my wedding invitations with Samira and they are absolutely amazing, in fact they are more beautiful than I expected. There were plenty of design options and the staff was creative and very helpful in helping me choose exactly what I was looking for. Samira was very courteous and made sure I was in the loop every single step of the way. Everything was delivered in a timely manner and it was one less thing I had to worry about for my wedding.

I have worked with Samira for my Wedding and my two kids Bath Mitzvahs and will have no hesitation to go back to her for any other occasions that I would need invitations, calligraphy and or kippahs. She puts a lot of efforts to provide a great service and is practically available by text or telephone at all time even on the weekends. It seems that some people don’t know that custom orders require a deposit no matter where you go. Unlike many shops where you end up working with an assistant who has no idea what s/​he is talking about, Samira spends a lot of time in every meeting and provides expert service with great input that I always found helpful and accurate. For those of you who want to penny pinch and nickel and dime a vendor you end up getting what you ask for, but if you want professional service and great products at reasonable prices, I highly recommend Elegant Invitations and Calligraphy.

Just finished my wedding with Samira at Elegant Invitations and contrary to the previous links had nothing but a good and pleasant experience. She’s been doing this for a while (all of my siblings came here for their events) and definitely knows what she’s talking about. I never write reviews but without her help the process would be so much more difficult. Everything looks super high end without the big price tag that a lot of places quoted me. You can’t expect to be stingy and have a good experience anywhere (as one of the reviews below me had mentioned about it not being cheap enough for him). If you want top notch invitations Samira won’t disappoint.

I wish I had read the below review before doing business with her (Samira). But she had no Unilocal account 6 months ago. Probably the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a vendor. She works out of her house in Beverly Hills. We used her for our wedding invitations.
She is very expensive and tries to nickel and dime you on everything. She charged us $ 20 just to look at the prints in an email. The service is horrible. After sending her a list of names for cards, she confirmed she received it then forgot our cards. I called back three weeks later and she said I never got the confirmation, after replying back to my email.
After receiving the cards, we were missing some names, and other names were duplicate. She was then supposed to print our menus and place cards. I asked for a few more place cards to be printed and she tried to charge me a crazy amount per card. After picking up the cards, they were very low quality, which she printed at home. At the end she tried to argue with me over a few dollars. This lady (Samira) is very cheap and unbelievable. Probably the worst person to deal with. Stay away!

There is a reason this business, namely Samira, is not on Unilocal.I’m sure she’s taken it down because of her terrible reviews. Here’s my story: I was in a rush for wedding invitations since I was late in planning. My wedding planner recommended her (although he claims now that he is no longer referring her to anyone because of all the terrible stories he’s heard of her), so I went with her. She works out of her Beverly Hills home. I perused her catalogs and tried to find n understated and plain invitation, which was not easy amongst all the tacky and exorbitant invitations her usual clientele go with. I found a simple design and agreed to go with it. She made me give an initial deposit right away without her even doing a demo of how the invitation would look. Being time crunched, I again went with it. I then checked out the invitation online and it was $ 300 cheaper overall for the same package that I would get from her. I told her this and she did not budge on her price. Then I went to pick up the invitations and pay her the remaining amount I owed. Of course, she only takes cash and if you give her a check, you get her drama. I owed a balance of $ 404. I gave her $ 400 and did not have change to make an even $ 4. Of course, she asked and demanded for the remaining $ 4, which I had put together in coins. Unbelievable.
