Place is not worth checking out… too far, shitty parking, and the art and artist they show is just awful.

I couldn’t tell if the other review was for the work or for the gallery. This review is for the gallery. Tonight’s shin-dig featured Claudia Parducci, and I was immediately amused. I wasn’t sure if her theme was a satirical poke at paranoia or a testament to the real threat we pose to ourselves(we being humanity) but either way, I enjoyed it. And the main point is that it was all presented well. There’s very little to distract, the proprietor is a nice bloke, and most importantly, he’s getting significant and important works in. This is a place that I’ll keep my eye on — as any gallery I suppose in the Beverly Wilshire district… But this one definitely fits in and deserves a look.

*** A lovely new gallery opens in Beverly Hills, 9mo ago. *** Latest exhibit featured Max Presneill’s brillantly colorful work. I love his abstract pieces. I like the pieces of his wife, and boys. But I really don’t care for the others … all contain skull and graffiti. *** A fresh new addition to the competitive Bev Hills art scene. ***
