Nirvana

The food was great, as well as the settings and décor. But this place was empty for Friday night (except for the party in the back). We sat in the lounge area and the waitress told us it would be a party there soon but it was no sign of crowd so we just left. I might visit this place but this time with a group of friends.

I’ve been here a few times. Very nice restaurant!!! Amazing atmosphere, decoration, and food is really delicious. Overpriced for sure, but always an experience.

We had my fiancé’s 30^th birthday here in June. The restaurant is beautiful! It has quite a few excluded spots perfect for private parties without having to pay for a separate room. It’s a great place to take pictures at night. The lighting, the décor, the bar all so pretty. We came here because wanted to have Indian food but be able to feel like we were in an upscale night club with some music.
We had 30 guests and we ordered the food buffet style. The quality of the food was better than most Indian restaurants we have been to. Meat was tender, perfectly seasoned curry. Only thing is I wish the portions were a bit larger.
The staff even helped us cut the cake we brought in the back.
Would come back for dinner here again

Excellent! Better than Flavor of India in West Hollywood. I went here with my girlfriend last night around 9:45p. Super surprised they were still open. The place is charming and romantic. Food was so flavorful. I had the chicken curry, and I even ate the samosas with the divine plum sauce (and I’m not a fan of samosas). I will bring my boyfriend back to this place!

The place has a nice décor and huge space for large number of guests. However when I was there, there were only several customers. Had a family style course. Most of dishes were average, but high prices. Tandoori chicken was bit over grilled, lamp was bit too salty and tandooris were bit dried.
There were just too much food for the course and had to doggy bag some. Like everyone, I had a stomach for the dessert, but unlike the menu description, the dish was missing a scoop of ice cream & only a huge round carrot patty that I left behind after a scoop. Meal for two cost $ 89 with a Gilt voucher which can get about $ 150.

Ambiance personified !!! Love the entire layout and the outside seating area is romantic. Wonderful all the way around.

Nirvana has great ambiance, delicious Indian food, and they know how to make some strong drinks! The food is very tasty, its as if you are having an authentic home cooked Indian meal! Also if you need some fresh air they have two very lovely patios located in the front and back of the restaurant.

Food wait was way too long, waitress was unorganized forgot to come back to offer us drinks and refill waters etc.
We just got small snacks, they were descent but the wait ruined it all.
Nice looking spot, open late but they need to work on the wait or at least provide some kind of snack while they make the food.

One of the good restaurants for Indian food in LA, but just a little expensive.

I was there last night for a private birthday party and although the food was decent, the wait staff appeared absent and disorganized.
For example, we would see no servers for a while and when they came and dropped off family style dishes, they didn’t explain what the dishes were. At one point, we received a dish that was just raw onions and raw jalapenos, so we looked at this dish with a puzzled face and tried a few pieces to see if it was seasoned or something (maybe it’s meant to be added to the other dishes as a condiment?). But then, before we had to chance to try more than one onion from the plate, they came by and took it away! This is very strange and disorganized behavior for wait staff in Beverly Hills.
Additionally, when everyone was mostly finished eating, they came and cleared our plates but did not clear most of the food! So we sat there, with family style dishes in front of us, with no plates or utensils for at least 30 min.
Not jumping at the chance to return anytime soon…

Nirvana is my favorite place when it comes to Indian food. Great ambiance, great food and amazing hospitality!!!

One of my favorite lounges in Beverly Hills. Very calming music and atmosphere. The food is fusion with an Indian flavor. You will become a fan of this hidden Los Angeles gem.

One of my favorite places in LA! If you enjoy quality Indian food (Leg of lamb, lentils, samosas) you must visit Nirvana.
Also a very sexy lounge with amazing cocktails (try the mango mojito & cumin cucumber watermelon martini!)

We love the cool chill vibe. Really great appetizers, strong cocktails, and the DJ was spinning a variety of really good music. We enjoyed ourselves a immensely.

The food was good. I would eat here again. The staff was friendly (when they came by). Service was a slow but I went when they just opened and it was quite.
The atomsphere was amazing and peaceful.

Horrible New Year’s Eve party! Very poorly organized and bad arrangements. There was water leakage near the bar making it slippery and unsafe! They advertised a DJ but instead they only had a CD player playing songs! $ 77 per person. I paid $ 78 for 4 drinks! So overpriced! When I asked for a receipt, they just down right refused! And gave no explanation of why it’s so much. Next round my 2 drinks were only for $ 20. Very weird! The food wasn’t great either with huge lines! A complete ripoff! At $ 77/​person for this party was probably the worst I have been to! I want a refund of my money! My New Year’s Eve was down right pathetic thanks to Nirvana.

Love it, Love it, Love it

This was my very first time having Indian food. Why did I wait so long? I came here with the guy who bought my business who eats Indian food all of the time. I was grateful because he and his business partners ordered so many different things and I was able to try it all. It was really good food and the ambience was very high end.
The service was very friendly and somewhere I will definitely go back to when I want to eat Indian food.

I recently went here with a friend of mind for dinner. It’s not the first time I’ve been there. Every time I’ve visited Nirvana the service was great, the drinks are good, and the food is wonderful.
I love the décor and the laid back, hip feel. It’s a great place for a girl’s hang out, a romantic date with your man or woman, it’s even great for a release party.

way too many people in here though… it was crowded and i always felt like i was in the way.
