Mint

I started to consign here about a year ago and have had luck selling. What the other reviewer said holds some truth. You do need to track your consignment dates and follow up with a phone call and visit to get paid. Specific details are in the consigning contract. The variety of brands (from high end to less fancy labels) is terrific. I think the prices in general are a bit higher than I wish to spend. I am wondering if the prices were 20% lower from the start if the store would move more inventory. As a consigner (and potential shopper), I would be totally fine with the prices marked to sell. Parking along the side of the building is a total plus! The dressing rooms are nice and roomy and the owner re-​arranges the store from time to time with a refreshed layout. I haven’t had any issues with employees on phone calls while visiting. The owner has been friendly and kind to me.

Not to trust if you are consigning clothes.
Drop your clothing off and never hear from the owner again — unless you initiate the call and pay-​out. This is not just a one time happenstance.
What’s more? Walked into shop to drop off clothing while owner stayed on the phone gossiping with a friend while I stood there waiting.
Fine is you’re looking to shop and willing to be the one to manage your pay-​out, but bottom line… Extremely unprofessional.

MINT is a great consignment shop in Beverly. I stopped in on Saturday to check out their Spring merchandise and was impressed with their selection (and they were having a 70% off sale which always makes me happy) I left with a fun turquoise cocktail ring and my friend left with a darling summer halter dress… each was ~$ 8. The prices range from low to high. The new owner, Abby, has a great selection of designers handbags, jewelry and clothing. Be sure to check it out!

I just found some great Spring dresses at Mint. Abby, the new owner has a great eye for beautiful clothing. Mint is the best consignment shop on the Northshore. I love how clean, open and friendly the store is. Mint has parking on the left of the building making it so easy to shop there. I always find something that I really like and Abby is great at making suggestions. I have a few friends who have started shopping there and I was envious of what they found!

Had my first experience shopping in Mint today & highly recommend going there! Great clothes at a great price! Very clean & organized & the owner was super friendly & helpful! Definitely have a new favorite consignment store :))

I shop Mint for their always great selection of designer accessories. Scarves, belts, handbags, and sunglasses… You can always find a great deal and if not new, you can be sure it’s in mint condition.

Great clothing selection. I always spend a fortune when I shop here.
The clothes are more along the lines of what you’d find in a Newburyport consignment shop than a Beverly one. But the prices are closer to Newburyport’s, too.
When I need a shopping fix, I’m glad this shop is right down the street!

Mint is a great place to buy designer clothes. It’s a consignment shop and the clothes are awesome. However, that being said, the owners are a tad bitchy. They need to not be so snooty, both in the store and on the phone. Remember ladies, you ARE selling used clothes!
