Vanessa did a great job, I am so happy! Went in after my hair grew out from a disappointing cut. She took time to look at my ideas and helped recommend a cut I could love. My hair is really thick, to the point where there’s actually too much to style. She cut my hair wonderfully, it’s so much easier now! Cutting hair isn’t rocket science, it’s art, and she’s got it down!

I was having a horrible hair day and lucky for me, I’m only 5 minutes from Vanessa! This was my first appointment with Vanessa, but not my first impulse hair appointment so I was a little nervous based on past experience. But because of the 2 excellent reviews here already, I decided to see if she could squeeze me in. She could, so I went for it and am glad that I did!
After asking me what I wanted to do, Vanessa also discussed future options for hair color, which I was interested in. I swear she’s psychic because she immediately mentioned a hair color that I’d been longing for but wasn’t sure would be practical for me. Like someone else said, she really does think out of the box. She also gave me tips to make my current color look better (use a few drops of blue food coloring when I shampoo my hair). She gave me a beautiful haircut and I feel like a million bucks. I can’t wait to see what she can do with color.
Vanessa was not pushy with products or anything else for that matter. She was a pleasure to chat with and most importantly, did spend the majority of the time talking to me about what we could with my hair. She had me finished up in time to get back to work with 15 minutes left to my lunch hour too! Best of all, her prices are very reasonable.

Vanessa is amazing. I recently moved back to the area from Philadelphia and was terrified of having to find a new stylist. I was referred to her by some savvy locals & had seen photos of the work she does and was immediately impressed.
I finally made an appointment to get full hilights and a trim up.
I’m always a little nervous at first getting my hair done, but I immediately felt comfortable and confident the results would be amazing. Trust is a hard feeling to have in the hands of a new stylist! She is just on it! I didn’t need question a thing. That is truly special.
She knew what I wanted with little explanation and was very intuitive to my personal style. She is obviously very experienced at her trade. She took her time to do a beautiful and meticulous job and clearly has made an art of it. She is also very intelligent and has a great personality and was very accommodating in the down time.
My color looks beautiful and natural and I couldn’t be happier or luckier to have found her! I highly reccomend her to anyone who wants their hair to look great or anyone in need of someone new who is reliable, consistent and has the vision and knowledge to do anything. I personally won’t be going anywhere else as long as I’m here. :)

Vanessa is the best. I first found her at Colour and have been hooked ever since. In fact, I live five hours away and basically plan trips home to get my hair done by Vanessa (shhh…don’t tell my parents!)
She does it all, but I am most impressed with her skills as a colorist.
First, she is smart and thinks outside the box. I came to her liking my highlights but not enjoying the maintenance that went along with them. Rather than having me come in more often, she told me about just flashing my roots every other time I came in, which I will do for the rest of my life. It’s natural looking and saves me time and money. I am always, always happy with my color, and it never looks brassy or over-​processed.
Secondly, Vanessa is incredibly thorough. Every highlight is perfectly placed and she doesn’t rush. I’ve been there for three hours before and she doesn’t let me leave unless it’s just perfect. Why wouldn’t you want a perfectionist as your hair stylist?
Thirdly, she really, really cares. Vanessa takes pride in her work, and not just how it looks the day you leave the salon. She has helped me solve hair problems over email when I cannot get in to see her. Above and beyond.
I used to be the girl who just did the best she could with her hair. Now… I love my hair.
