WiseGrass is Lancaster’s craft grassery. We grow grass mostly in home lawns. That includes fertilizer, lime, aeration, overseeding, weed controls, and everything it takes to grow the best lawn possible. We’re the real deal. But don’t take our word for it! History

Established in 2003.

My Dad, Daniel Stoltzfus, started the family landscaping business in 1988. He started the business as a subcontracting service seeding lawns for new home builders. In 2003 I took over the business and about that time started playing with the fertilizing end of lawn care. Dad always said, «This building industry can’t last forever.» True that.

In 2008 we stopped doing lawn installations and now focus solely on lawn care. The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence you know!

I see lawns in a similar way, Growing grass is an art and there is always a touch or there to make it just a bit better.

Each lawn has limiting factors. My job is to discover those and dissolve them. It’s that simple.
