History

Established in 2009.

Owner, Barbara Deyo has been in the makeup biz for 25 years, with 15 of them in Birmingham. The third time is the charm! Deyo Studio is Barbara’s 3^rd (and FINAL) location, where she was able to finally make the studio a representation of her. Coming into Deyo is like walking into Barbara’s home. You will always feel welcome and comfortable — and leave feeling and looking you absolute BEST.

Barbara Deyo is a veteran of the industry, being recognized by BRIDES, Allure, Hour, CBS, WDIV, Real Detroit and more as being the best at what she does. Her work has been published in Redbook, Rolling Stone, People, Seventeen, Ambassador, HOUR, Real Detroit Weekly and many more. She has worked with countless celebrities, such as Roselyn Sanchez, Bob Seger, Kid Rock, Dennis Quaid, Ethan Hawke, and Kerrie Washington. During her many years in television both in LA and Detroit, she worked for NBC, UPN, CBS, FOX, TNT and BET, doing makeup for local and national broadcasts. Her loyal clientele spans the globe, and travel to her whenever possible, just to have their eyebrows done!
