I’ve been mail ordering from Seth off and on over the last 10 years. I like trying other roasters across the country, but I always come back to OBR for their consistency, price, speed, and varietal bean selections. I make espresso (OBR Costa Rica is a favorite), french press (any), and drip coffee (OBR House Blend is my favorite). One day my mailman knocked on my door to tell me how much he appreciates me ordering coffee as the smell fills up his carrier.

I buy locally from OBR on a regular basis. I have been roasting my own beans with homemade, self-​engineered roaster (that I’m in the process of patenting) for about 9 years so I usually get green beans from them. That being said, I do occasionally buy roasted beans from OBR bc they are truly masters of their craft.
I’m very particular about my roasting process and have acquired many secrets that I share with very few (some with no one) so for me to pay extra for roasted beans when I have the option of getting them green and doing it to my own personal taste says allot.
Hands down, no questions asked, Seth knows his coffee. The guy loves what he does and it shows. Highly recommend them in every capacity!

I love small coffee roasters. This company adds to the uniqueness of Bisbee, and the Southern tip of Arizona. When I came in the store, I was delighted by how tiny the shop is (the front room is engulfed by an active roaster. We bought Columbian and Ugandan, and were not disappointed. Both had great flavor, and the Columbian was still warm from the roaster. Giving 4 stars because I am waiting to be wowed by a roast. I will definitely return on a bi-​weekly basis to restock. (Much better than the roaster down the street, who gave me a month old bean to enjoy).

I’m a huge fan! If you call with a question, you might even get Seth answering the phone, but whoever answers is helpful and genuinely happy to be of service. I’ve settled into getting the coffee samplers because I can never make up my mind which coffee to try and because that way, I always have a perfect gift ready for any occasion. Coffee that is super fresh and supports small coffee farmers all around the world, delivered to your door. Nothing beats that. And yes, your mail carrier will swoon from the delicious aroma filling his or her truck.

Moved from Phoenix to Bisbee 3 years ago. Was pretty spoiled with Copper Star Coffee in the Melrose District in midtown. Didn’t think I would ever find amazing coffee here in Bisbee. My friend told me about Old Bisbee Roasters and I was hooked! Best and freshest coffee around. Seth knows his coffee and I appreciate the variety of freshly roasted beans offered and education he provides on each varietal. The fact that he supports coffee cooperatives from the countries he receives the beans from is an added bonus.

I’ve been drinking coffee for 40+ years. Even lived in the PNW for 10 years thinking I’d tasted some of the best coffee. I was wrong. Who knew I’d really discover coffee for the first time in Bisbee AZ? I can’t imagine getting coffee from anyone else at this point.

Used to be the best and I use to refer all to the business.
I was a very satisfied member of the coffee of the month club for a couple of years. When I called and told them I wanted to cancel because of the very below par coffee I received 2 months running the lady at the other end of the line seemed quite unconcerned.

Everything I said in my prior review stands. A week ago, I got a very nice email apologizing, promising some free coffee as a an apology gift.
They did send free coffee. To the wrong address, an address I haven’t been at for almost three years. It’s almost too ironic.
I replied to the email alerting them to the issue. Two weeks on, no reply. This, I’m afraid, perfectly captures how this business has changed since Seth himself distanced himself from the mail order side. I wish them the best. But there are a lot of mail order coffee services out there. And most of them manage to get coffee to the right address, more often than not.
Visit them in Bisbee. Join a different coffee club. Regrettably I have.

Seth and company make the best coffee on Earth. Each bean variety is roasted in a custom manner. It doesn’t matter which type you try, they are all fantastic. The smell of the coffee escaping the bag is enough to drive a coffee hound to the brink of insanity. Only a cup of the coffee itself pulls him back.

This is seriously the most fresh coffee I have ever tasted. I can’t walk past the bag without sniffing it. The selection is ever changing and the roaster, Seth, has amazing knowledge for what he is doing. Do not come to Bisbee without picking up a pound or two.

Phenomenally Delicious and Amazing Coffee! Seth has the best coffee hands down! We order about 3 lbs every 5 weeks. We have tried other coffee from other Coffee Roasters but Handsdown Seth’s Coffee is the best! Our Coffee always arrives quickly and it is such a welcome smell! Ohhhh, I LOVE IT! Been buying and enjoying Seth’s roasted beans since 2007. When you figure in free shipping on 2 lbs., Seth’s coffee is a bargain. Really the best I have tasted ANYWHERE. You cannot beat the quality and freshness. I receive the warm beans 48 hrs after roasting at my home here in Spokane. The only drawback is that my postman enjoys the fresh roasted coffee aroma so much that he waits until the end of his route to deliver my coffee!

I drink a lot of coffee. I live in LA, where you can get really good coffee in a lot of places. I travel to SF somewhat regularly, too, and you can find even better coffee all over the place there. When I tried a free shot of Seth’s coffee I was blown away by it. Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Luckily you can order online, since I don’t live in Bisbee. The downside is that after tasting this stuff nothing else is likely to stack up to it.

Met Seth in a tiny alley in Bisbee making coffee. After years of avoiding coffee, I found his was too seductive. Have not met a bean I didn’t love from OBR. Great variety of sources, fast delivery to my home in SF and good prices.
