IColor

I’ve now brought 4 iphones here to be repaired. The phones either had a bad home button, bad power button or a broken screen. Every time I’ve stopped by the MOA kiosk I’ve walked away with a fixed iphone for a reasonable price in a reasonable time. I check the phones over thoroughly before leaving but so far I’ve had no issues after getting the phones fixed here.
Some of the guys there can be a bit rough around the edges but I don’t blame them. While waiting around the kiosk I’ve seen plenty of incredibly rude people stop by. I’ve been treated with respect from every tech I’ve encountered.

worked for three days. broke my phone and no refund. totally screwed. the worst. no warrantee. totally sucks. stay away!!!
guy was also a jerk. but we let that go because the new phone was so exciting. Who cares is\f he’s a jerk. my phone is now a piece of junk.

I brought my phone to iColor because the button on the top was stuck. They fixed it for 50 dollars + Tax in 30 minutes. I thought it was going to be a new button or at least a solid repair. When I got home I realized that my camera (right below the button) was completely broken so I went back the next day. They fixed the camera but when I got it back the button required more pressure to press down and a week later the button was broken again. I brought it back, this being the 3^rd time I had driven down to the MOA and I waited 3 hours because the guy there said he couldn’t do that type of repair. When Tony got there he said that they didn’t have the part! he looked inside gave me the phone back and now it says searching for service!!! I’m getting ready to upgrade this month anyway but I either want a refund or to have the repair they said they would do with a 90 day warranty done the right way with an actual part and without fucking up the phone in new ways. I was told they are going to order a part and if they do come through I will update my review. I wasn’t going to write a review but I read another persons who was given this same story-​they have to order the part and now they can’t get one from their supplier. I would avoid this place.

I dropped my iphone 4 (Verizon) and shattered the screen. I didn’t want to pay Apple’s prices to fix the screen, so I took my phone to the iColor kiosk in the Mall of America. They fixed the screen in under an hour, but the proximity sensor no longer worked. Tony said he didn’t have the part to fix it, but he would order the piece and replace it free of charge when it came in. That was March 10, it is now April 26, and they still haven’t gotten the part. I have called several times, and have been told they are having problems with their supplier. For anyone else with a verizon iphone 4, spend the extra $ 50 and get Apple to fix it. Otherwise you may end up with a non-​functioning proximity sensor like me.
