Established in 1995.

Salon owner, Maryann Ellis, has been in the beauty industry for over 25 years. Maryann owned her first salon in Rhode Island and has owned many salons over the years. Specializing in hair extensions and hair replacement she has changed the life of many people. Not only is the owner extremely experienced, we have a large staff with just as much experience as her. Raspberries Salon has a relaxed atmosphere and is a family-​oriented business. Not only do we have a passion for hair, we want every client to leave happy and feeling wonderful about themselves. I will never return to this salon. I’m surprised why they are still in business. Maryanne is not a honest person. All they care about is money.

Meh… paid 190 before tip on first visit and hair barely looked lighter as requested and was brassy. Tried it again, Was told second visit would be less expensive but was quoted same price once in chair but refused another base color so it was ONLY $ 175 after tip… way too much for how it looked and the hairdresser, Joan, blamed the brassiness on my shampoo and care… still didn’t look to great after second visit… also, old school techniques were employeed. also, not tipping on a credit card. outdated and not IN any longer. Sorry Raspberries, I tried. You are overpriced an in need of a refresher.

Raspberries Hair Salon is a all in one shop, you have hair and nails which is great for my wife and me, it keeps me from having to drive all over the place. The fact that it is in a great location is one of the reasons I am recommending this place.
Some of the other reasons are the fact that everyone that works there is extremely nice and you really seem to feel like you are in a high end salon even if you are just waiting for some one like you wife or girlfriend.
The décor is great and you also have a panoramic view of the outside through the large windows which keep the inside from looking like a dark dungeon, like some of the other places I have seen.
The set up is like something you would see on TV, Also for you guys out there who’s wives or girlfriends love to get their nails done. Make sure they check out Danielle one of the Nail Techs there, she does it all from basic polish to Pink and Whites and Nail art.

There is not much talent here. I had one good experience, and one terrible experience. The good stylist had been there 2 months, the bad one had been there 5 years. Most of the staff are rude and busy talking to each other. It could be a lot cleaner and a lot less tacky.
