Ugh. I really would like to leave a good review mainly because their juice is good and acai bowls are really tasty. I’m willing to spend money for good food and drink but struggle to do it over and over with such terrible service. If you have a job or places to be or don’t want to wait 10+ minutes every single time, then this place is gonna drive you crazy.
Unless you purchase something that’s premade from the fridge, you should expect to wait 10 minutes, sometimes more, even when no one else is waiting. Which I never understand. I once sat on the bench waiting for my juice where they couldn’t quite see me, and they forgot I was there. It wasn’t until I stood up that they then made my drink. What?! How is that possible?! I just ordered from you!
I go. I wait. And then I hate myself all over again for it. What’s worse is, as others have mentioned, they’re not friendly, at all. Like, no good morning. No have a good day. Last week the guy made the wrong acai bowl for me– and after I waited 10 min for it, yes– he offered to make the right one, but with no apology. I took what he made because I had to get to work. As in, I don’t have 20+ minutes to burn waiting. If I did, I’d be making breakfast at home!
I hate leaving crappy reviews like this, especially for small businesses in my hood but this kind of service at those prices? A big old thumbs down.

Overpriced and rude service. I went in for an Acai Bowl and requested to not have bananas on top. My suggestions were berries or pineapple. I received a melted frothy smoothie (minimal Acai) and apples instead of berries. Wow! What a disappointment. Don’t go here if you’re craving an Acai bowl!

Great organic fresh pineapple juice I ever had. Now I’m full of energy. Love it so much!

Love this place. Is now my go to place for smoothie. Love their Berry Avocado and Coffee Banana. Drinks are pricey, but so worth it. Will probably declare bankruptcy as I spend all my disposable income and children’s theoretical inheritance on these smoothies.

This place is a little hidden gem. Great smoothies and juices, cute little vibe. It’s tiny, but I’m really excited to have a spot in the neighborhood to get fresh smoothies and juices made with organic fruit. They seem to have a great selection and they are always super friendly. Decent enough coffee too in a pinch.

I have tried other well known places in Manhattan and I prefer the Acai Bowls here. The well known places are more watered down.
This is my go to place for Acai Bowls. They give loads of fruit and granola. I get them more than once a week and it has never failed to taste amazing or fill me up.
I get the Berry Acai without Walnuts. The smoothie is well mixed that it tastes the same with every bite. The fruit and granola are proportional to the bowl. I always have enough for each scoop.
I wish I could find delicious Acai bowls like this by my apartment!

The products OJ is selling are great– and they advertise the quality very well. But as a person who loves routine (my 8am black coffee, my 10am green juice, my 1pm cobb salad) — and can’t always have it at home– I appreciate a business that puts effort into their relationship with customers. There is none of that here– not even a smile or a good morning. Some days I don’t have the extra time to walk somewhere further for my juice but on days that I do– I go elsewhere. The psychological impact of a simple «hello» or a smile is great. Smart business owners will do what they need to do to make sure employees can do this.

This place is great — the food is 5-​star. But every morning I watch countless people walk out of here because they only have on person on staff and it takes 10 minutes to get a smoothie. Too bad.

Great smoothies, the overnight oats/​chia is AMAZING (if you add tons of agave). Everything is extremely expensive, though– save, strangely, the actual juice cleanse, which is the same as expected, $ 53-​$ 55/​day.

Finally, an acai-​granola bowl place in Brooklyn, almost like the one we found in Santa Barbara years ago. Only a few choices, but all good. No real places to sit, though (just a bench).

The bad reviews here are hilarious. This is a great juice place to have in the neighborhood, offers a lot on their menu and their design hits the right chord (not pretentious).

Super disgusting I found something like eyelashes in the acai bowl. Omg. Please clean your store and make ur workers wear the hat and their glasses. And the girl cashier gave me a bad attitude like I can’t afford it? Don’t go!

I just purchased the Acaí Bowl. It is delicious and makes a great snack or breakfast. The staff is very friendly and the shop is clean and very organized. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending others!

I love the tropical green & berry avocado smoothies !!! Taste so good ! Very refreshing, delicious and healthy! Prices are not cheap but they use very high quality and organic ingredients. The only organic juice/​smoothie bar in the area! They also have cold-​pressed juice cleanses.

Don’t get me wrong the store was cute. But I wasn’t impressed with their smoothie. The attendant didn’t seem that thrilled to help me. Smoothie had no flavor. I asked for the fruitiest flavor. But they didn’t have a choice that tickled my fancy. I got a strawberry, pineapple and mango. I asked for suggestions. I know smoothies. She should have said add honey for the sweetness. It had 4 stars on Unilocal!Come on! I thought it would’ve tasted better. I assumed this place was going to be excited about make smoothies and have great customer service. But I assumed wrong.

Great organic juice bar — smoothies, fresh juices made to order and bottled to go, acai bowls. Nice small interior — wood floor, white marble counters. Small bench outside is always full. Was time that Boerum Hill got a good juice bar.
