best pet food store in area. they are super nice there (the store cats and people) and they deliver.

I like it here. The owners are very friendly and always willing to help. They also sell high quality products that you want to give your pet, not low quality. Great neighborhood pet store.

If you like to spoil your pet and live in the neighborhood, this place does the trick.
But I really wish it had a bigger selection of dog toys — and more affordable prices. The average price for a little bag of dog treats is $ 10 dollars. Don’t get me wrong, I’d give my dog the world if I could, but that’s a bit excessive. My treats don’t even cost that much.
The owners are very nice. And their cat is adorable.
Still, with a Pet Smart just a few blocks away, I can’t say I come here too often.

I am really happy I went to this place when the chain pet store nearby was closed. I was really excited to see they have a ton of the Weruva line of cat food, including canned flavors I’ve never seen before. Prices are totally fair, on par with with ordering online or chains, and its a cute store that only carries the brands I’d want to buy anyway. They have a store rewards system to, and are right above the F train. Plus, store cats! I’ve only ever had great interactions with the employees who are super friendly and helpful. In fact I signed up for Unilocal just to give them a review, because it was dismaying to see pet owners leaving these questionable reviews about a staff that seems to really care about you and your pets.

If you love your pet, and you love that your pet loves food, and you love that your pet loves pet food, then you’ll love Loving Pet Food. Came here to pick up some bones for a chihuahua that you can only get at places like Loving Pet Food. Not PetSmart, although I really don’t have anything against the store. Loving Pet Food smells like a pet store, and has narrow aisles, and also has helpful and professional clerks behind the counter. Lovely to love Loving Pet Food. PS also open on July 4^th. Talk about freedom.

I really don’t like that everyone consistently mentions that the staff at Loving Pet Food are Asian, particularly in relation to subpar service. Would anyone here ever call out bad service from a Caucasian person, e.g. «the tall white man at the counter was incredibly rude»? No, he would simply be described as rude — rude is rude, and race does not impact that. Regardless, I’ve been in the store many times and have never seen any of the guys in the store yelling at anyone and couldn’t imagine them doing so, as they are incredibly chill.
I really appreciate their later hours (open to 8p on weeknights) and proximity to the subway. They have a nice selection of harder-​to-​find cat foods, e.g. Weruva which PetSmart doesn’t sell. They may not have the widest variety of products and cost a little more, but it’s a conveniently located shop and well-​run. I’d rather spend here than a large faceless pet store. You get a small discount if you pay in cash vs. card. I don’t see the store cat every time I go, which is sad, but otherwise it’s all good.

Always helpful always polite and the store has a great selection of brands. I can conveniently call and my past orders are on file and the food is delivered to my door. Excellent service at good prices.

Yeah I won’t be coming back… the guy who was at the register was just an idiot… could care less about you or what you needed.
If you want really bad curt service from a mindless employee who may or may not know anything… you should come here… there is nothing loving about this place…

Bought wee wee pads from the store owner and specifically asked if they were durable and thick prior to purchase because our puppy destroys them. Opened it up and the shit is paper thin, my bounty does a better job. The asian guy refused an exchange or return as he doesn’t «receive credit from his distributor» for it. How about your customer who received a piece of shit product and has a useless product based on your lack of knowledge on your own products? The Asian guy completely turned down the idea for exchange. Great customer service bro

I’ve been shopping here for a few years and I remain really happy with the service. They have a solid selection of cat food and other kitty essentials. The staff is very nice and helpful. They give you a discount when you buy food by the case. The kicker: they will deliver to your door for free and refuse a tip. This service alone makes all the difference for me – there are no pet stores very near my house, so lugging 30 cans of food home was a huge pain before I discovered Loving’s delivery service.

The people who work here are very knowledgeable about the different types of pet food that they carry., and have helped me get my dog onto a diet that doesn’t make him itch or make him sick. The store is neat and well-​stocked. It is pricey, and if you want to feed your dog some general chow from the store, this isn’t the place for you, but it’s great if you want or need to get premium or specialized food for your dog or cat.
Also I have brought my dog in a few times and they are very nice to him. He wasn’t well-​socialized and they always spend some time helping him get used to meeting strangers.

This store carries Primal Raw dog food and the staff I’ve spoken with are pretty well educated on raw diets. They have always been very friendly and helpful. They also have alternatives to rawhide chew things for dogs including antlers and himalayan sticks.

I like this place but it is a little pricey. They have a big selection but when I realized I was being overcharged I stopped shopping here. Clark Pet Store has better prices.

I love this place! It’s so much better than Beastly Bite!!! The guys here are so nice and friendly! The prices might be a bit higher than other places (hence the 4 stars instead of 5), but it’s so great to have this small little shop in the neighborhood instead of going to the big retail chain store around the corner. Plus they deliver same day for free!!!

Small, conveniently located pet shop. I checked in here two weeks in a row recently. Each time, the 5% Unilocal coupon popped up. I was pleasantly surprised the second time, because I «received» and redeemed a coupon the week before. The person at the cash register remembered as I was leaving the store and called out loudly to me from the counter, as if I was stealing: «hey, didn’t you use that before?!» For this behavior, they lose 2 stars.

the only pet store in the area that sells my dog’s food, and in multiple flavors. The service ranges depending on who’s behind the counter but overall fine.

it’s a trek to this pet store from our apartment, but we like it. Why, you ask? Here is why:
1. sassy cat inside — she’s sassy and adorable and has no patience for nuthin’, but she’s SO cute.
2. great hours — they’re pretty much open forever
3. they have everything — really. all the different brands, good prices, weird healthy treats that look like they’d be gross to touch. everything!
Plus, the staff is really nice.

The price of the supplies are sometime right, and sometime TOO high…
I bought a cat scratching tower thing, that was only 2 feet high and 3 feet wide, and its like a little standing up cylinder house (for the cats), for $ 50 DOLLARS! Just a little short/​small play-​scratch set for that much of money. The man behind the counter, who seem like he’s the owner of the place, is sometimes helpful. he sometimes help me with the right dry food for my dog. That’s the good part about him. He sometimes a little mean… but just can’t tell the story. The store is nice, and the staff sometime, but the price could be way over the top…

I stopped in this pet store a few days ago looking some things for my new kitten. I was pretty disappointed with what they had to offer. While they have a large selection of pet food, the other supplies I looked at were limited and over priced. The one guy working was nice enough but not very engaging and didn’t offer any help at all. In fact he kind of just stared at me as I wandered around the store. I wouldn’t say it’s a terrible place, but since Smith Pet Food is just down the block and they have a much better selection of non-​food supplies and friendlier service (see my review for it), I’ll definitely be choosing Smith Pet Food over this place.

I really like this store — the staff is really nice & helpful! much much much nicer than Beastly Bite on Court St.
