La Quinta Inn & Suites Boise Towne Square

First stay at a laquinta, room was clean, although there was an odor in the room not pleasant, the biggest complaint was no mention about the cold hot tub before, during or after check in, only to be discovered at the door to pool in my suit and flip flops, with a note taped to the door, a big disappointment since the hot tub was the reason we booked. No discount no apologies, no more stays with la quinta

So we didn’t even get to stay here but we called to make a reservation. After being hung up on 6 times and transferred 3 times and being called nasty names we decided to go elsewhere. Maybe you should work on service

I would definitely stay here again! Clean updated rooms, comfortable beds, large TV, fridge and microwave in every room, good breakfast and an amazing shower head. The view out of our window is all green grass and trees and beautiful. The area the hotel is in is great. Close to everything. You can even walk to an iHop next door. Pool and fitness room are great. On top of the hotel being so great, the service from the staff was even better. Everyone was so kind and made sure we had a good visit. We have a dog and they put us in a room on the first floor closest to the door which made it so easy and quick to take our dog outside whenever we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Not the best, not the worst. Linens smelled fresh and clean but overall there was a smell of animal urine. Staff was very friendly and quick to help. There was some sort of event going, there were a lot of drunks at the pool, parking lot and lobby. The management should have tried to contain it to one area or the other, felt a little confined to our room. Probably will choose somewhere else next time, mostly because the pet smells were bothersome

Easy and friendly check in. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Loaded with places to shop. Very convenient and easy to get to. Would stay again.

After staying at a different La Quinta and having a positive experience, I was excited to come to this one and relax after an 8 hour drive. After checking in, I got into my room and noted a gross smell which I can best describe as a mixture of dog urine and cleaning products used to try to disguise the odor. I promptly went to the desk and asked for a different room. The only one available was a handicapped. No big deal. Well, I went to go move my stuff from my old room to the new one and my key to the old room didn’t work. I had to go back to the front desk and get it reactivated. I went back to the room and it still did not work. Maintenance had to be called to open the door. After getting settled into the new room, we were going to leave to grab a quick bite to eat and noticed that our door, while would appear to be locked, would open if it was simply pressed on. We again had to wait for maintenance to fix the door, which took around 15 minutes. Due to all of the issues, we requested a discount on our room, which we did not get. Also a huge frustration: the key cards did not work well at all. It took multiple attempts to open our room door and I couldn’t even open the door to get into the hotel with my card key. I had to go thru the lobby each and every time. I noticed that other guests had the same issues with the cards as well. I will not be returning to this LQ and am questioning whether or not to check out anymore in this chain.

But…the hallway on the 2^nd floor had a bad smell… couldn’t tell what it was… burnt popcorn… smelly feet… not sure what it was.
The main reason that I booked this hotel was because of the 24hr pool and hot tub option… usually hotels only offer til 10pm… so my husband went to a movie and got back at midnight thinking it would be a perfect time to use the hot tub… wrong…
The pool and hot tub were full of screaming kids. Yikes. I know that the hotel can’t help that… but maybe have a time limit for children??? Maybe after 11 or 12 no kids? That would have been great. So we didn’t even get to use the hot tub… pretty disappointed about that. Oh well though.

All in all pretty good stay staff is super helpful we had some billing issues that they took care of no problem.

Good hotel. Pet friendly. Breakfast set up made no sense. Trash was full and overflowing. Cereal was beyond stale. Coffee was… brown water and when you dispensed apple juice, water came out. I told the staff but she was very busy. This hotel is nice and modern and kid friendly. The pool is a big hit for families. Thank you for being pet friendly!

This hotel has been recently refurbished and they did an excellent job. It is modern, attractive, clean, comfortable and has many amenities of a higher end hotel (such as a full gym which includes cardio machines with individual media /​cable TV, and free weights.) The breakfast had more protein and fresh fruit options than the typical free breakfast and I was able to put together a delicious breakfast of original oatmeal, eggs, red potatoes, fresh fruit and tea, without blowing my commitment to being sugar and flour free. The service was outstanding. A large percentage of the hotel guests had kids and/​or pets so I imagine this hotel is particularly kid and pet friendly. Despite this, my stay was quiet and relaxing and I was not bothered by either.
Note: I tend to avoid La Quinta because the only time I have ever stayed in one my room smelled of cat pee. My room in Boise Town Square was immaculate and it smelled fresh and clean. I would recommend staying here, even if you don’t have a pet — at least, in these recently remodeled days. I imagine that since they are such a pet friendly hotel, the inevitable pet smell will eventually happen.

Decent room for the money. 24hr pool, free breakfast, snack bar, dry cleaning, decent rooms. Too far from downtown though (5 miles). Next to the mall…

Got a slamming deal on Trivago. We got a double room on a Friday night for $ 100. We were just in town with our little boys for the night so that price was perfect. The location is dynamite. We were close to the mall, stores, restaurants & Chuck E. Cheese which was exciting for our boys.
Check in was easy but there is only one elevator & it was slow. We waited and waited. Our room was nice, clean & the windows opened ALL the way! I love that! The beds were a little bit harder than I prefer, but I feel asleep no problem.
The pool/​hot tub is NICE SIZED! Plenty of room for lots of families to play in the water without feeling crowded or awkward. I think the pool is open ²⁴⁄₇.
The wi-​fi was speedy!
We will def. stay here again if we need a spot away from Down Town.

GREAT price, clean, GREAT pool and whirlpool!
Beds — comfy and clean.
Breakfast — was seriously lacking when we were there but we heard there was a staff emergency and it appeared that no one was there to refill anything.
Kids — very family friendly, spacious rooms
Price — 120 for the large suite *perfect*
Location — right off the Interstate
Pool– one of the warmest and cleanest.
We’d definitely come back.

Above and beyond–
Beds– comfy and clean, we slept well.
Pool– warmest pool I’ve been in that is inside a major chain hotel. Clean pool nice hot tub too.
Breakfast–
Skipped breakfast because we wanted to eat at the IHOP across the parking lot.
Kids– very kid/​family friendly
Price point– 2 double beds for $ 105.
Can’t beat that.
Location– right off the interstate & in the middle of a mall type area.

Had to book a room here last minute when my friend and I were stranded in Boise on a road trip. Got a nice double room for $ 99. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful, plus they gave us cookies! The rooms are very nice and clean. I loved the free WiFi and how the TV’s in La Quinta don’t turn on to a standard hotel channel. Good job La Quinta.

Great Hotel. Shockingly upscale for what I was expecting. Staff friendly as always and it sits in the middle of shops.
This Hotel was a step above — almost Kimpton“ish” in the rooms.
Staff was friendly as well. If I’m ever back in Boise… This will be my place to stay.

Nice, convenient, clean, comfortable and the décor is beautiful. What more could you want? It was exactly what we needed after a long day on the road. Our check in was quick and I slept like a baby. Highly recommended !
