3 dollar pints which include imports and a 2 dollar personal pan pizza. Can’t go wrong here. That’s their happy hour 11pm to close. A great final stop on my weekend bar hopping tour downtown. They tell you it’s 8 min. From time you order to stuffing your face… and he was right on time.

Loved that this place was open late as my hungry hippo friends and myself needed to eat so late on a Saturday night after a few drinks already lol Good pizza and appetizer dip and pull cheese bread snack. Also beers and a good chill atmosphere. We enjoyed it and would be back again!

We went there today & our pizza was made incorrectly. I mentioned it to the waitress & she told me if they remade it she would charge us more?! So we ate our $ 22 large pizza that we didn’t really want. We won’t be back. If food is made incorrectly it should be fixed without any issues.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Walked in on a Saturday night with my pregnant wife because there were several empty tables visible through the front window. Floppy-haired guy at the host station told us that the kitchen was behind, and they weren’t seating at the open tables because the waitstaff was slammed. Told us there’d be a 15-minute wait, so we decided to stay and wait. While we waited almost a half hour without being seated, we watched(1) about 20 people walk out right past us(thus leaving other open tables), and(2) the floppy-haired host try his hardest to hook up with the female hostess he was partnered with. Finally, another waiting customer walked around the corner and came back to kindly tell us that a small table had opened up in the bar section if we wanted it. So we went and sat down, and watched while one of the wait staff waited on all of the tables around us without even glancing at us. Finally, after 45 minutes from walking in the door, and in order to avoid an epic meltdown by my wife(who is 6 months pregnant), we left to find somewhere else to eat. So glad we did. What a crap staff this place has. Not going back.

Such amazing service. Our waiter Gus was so wonderful, very attentive, offered great suggestions and even met us try some beers before choosing the right one(and actually ended up choosing his suggestions. He made sure we knew about the specials and then also told us all about they’re happy hours and late night specials for next time! I can’t say enough nice things about him, he was honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Not to mention the food was amazing! I recommend doing the lunch special if that’s the time you come in :) Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been here a few times. I’ve always enjoyed this place, the food, the drinks, and people who work here are really friendly and nice. My husband is a big fan of this place. Last time we were here we ordered chicken pesto panini. Oh it was lot of love in that panini… it was sooo good. I know what I’m ordering next time at Old Chicago.

Woah! This place was awful. We had reserved a party of 15 for 730pm… Upon our arrival we were informed that they had to wait for previous parties to leave before they could set up our table… Fast forward an HOUR later our table was ready. There was one server for our group and she seemed very stressed… Our drinks arrived with in 10 minutes mixed drinks with in 15… Our food however took another 45 minutes… And when it arrived looked decent for quality and cost… But unfortunately was disappointing in flavor… The pizza we ordered was extremely greasy and had stated in the description that it contained jalapeños, let me just say this pizza had no jalapeños… My brother ordered the whiskey bourbon burger and it was extremely burnt around the edges and very greesy… My 5 year old refused to eat the patty on her hambger also due to it being rather crispy… Over all it was a waste of $ 70 and a beautiful December Saturday night. We will no be back.

Was pretty darn good. Service was fast for how busy they were. Food came pretty fast and was good. Seemed a bit pricey and left there with 4 people 2 adults 2 kids full for $ 85+. Will return when I win the lottery.

Always love coming to Old Chicago! The Happy Hour specials are great and the Sicilian Pepperoni Rolls are amazing! They are my favorite! The Boise Old Chicago has great service and good atmosphere. Good location right in downtown

Went here when visiting family in Boise. The Tuscan pizza was pretty amazing, the service was pretty good and everyone enjoyed their food. We went when it was a little busy so the food took a bit but it’s a nice environment to hang out while waiting. I’d come here again!

Average food, cold beer, service not great. Came to Old Chicago for dinner and a beer. I had the chicken pesto sanny… it was good, nothing special. The beer was cold and the selection was good. However, our server was not interested. We were only one of two tables in the bar area, and any time we needed water, a beer or to make our dinner order, we had to call her to the table. The lack of service was really a downer.

We came in here at sort of a strange time, and were able to get seated immediately. This place, on both a food and atmosphere level, is really nothing you probably haven’t seen in every U. S city before. It’s premise is «Chicago» based and you can get any American staple of sports bar food. The food here was hit and miss. I had the chicken avocado sandwich, that was nothing short of basic. I did also try my friend’s macaroni and cheese, which tasted horrifically bad for you, but was undeniably good nonetheless. There’s probably some pretty decent tasting offerings here, but I feel like if you’re gonna spend the money to go out to eat, there are probably some more interesting places you could find.

Service was great food was yummy and beer was refreshing! The hostess was friendly and outgoing so that really started our meal off right, she even changed the channel on one of the TVs for us so we could watch supercross which is alwaus a bonus! Our servers name was BRANDON and he was great! We had drinks before we even had to ask napkins before we realized we needed them and all our food came out just right and he didnt«raffle» off our orders he actually remembered who ordered what. I had a draft IPA brewed in Idaho if your an IPA drinker i would definately recomend it! I have zero complaints about this place we cant wait to come back with friends!

Great bar with expansive beer selection. Food is average, though I’ve had a very good tortilla soup here. Pizza is Chicago style, deep dish and heavy on the cheese. You can order thin crust pies.

Wow. This was bad. Really bad. Long time Old Chicago fans– it’ll be awhile before we come back to this location. After being seated our drink orders were taken. 20 minutes later we got a water, a sprite and a ginger sparkler. Ordered 2 pizzas and an appetizer. We left after 50 minutes. We were charged for the«kids eat free» pizza. No manager in sight. I called from the car to let the manager know. Ten minutes on hold and then was told the manager was too busy. So– only OC in the mall with Brent for us!

My favorite restaurant for many years just keeps getting better. This has been the destination for just about any dinner celebration and always brings a thoroughly enjoyable experience every time. We come here for nothing else but the pizza, which is delicious and well-prepared bar none. The beer selection is also impressive with domestic and microbrew choices that make you keep coming back. Next time, I need to talk myself into trying the calzones… I keep hearing they are good times, and I need to see for myself! Being from Southeastern Wisconsin, the food and overall atmosphere easily keep me from complaining about the Chicago Bear pennants that hang about on the walls :)

Good pizza, better bar, tons of beers on tap. Didn’t take a photo of the nachos, they were easily the high light. Or maybe I was just really hungry, either way I downed them very quickly.

Always have had such a pleasant experience here. Waitstaff is always great and the food is fantastic! The pizza is unbeatable, but their sandwiches and appetizers are also winners! The Chicken Pesto Panini is a favorite and the Italian Nachos are to die for! The idea of Italian style nachos may be off putting at first, but they are INCREDIBLE! The plate is pretty giant, so definitely something good to share. Old Chicago is a perfect place to bring a bunch of friends because they have a beverage for anyone with the impressive beer and alcohol list. One of my favorite restaurants.
