We had the pleasure of working with Scot and his great team just this last week. We had dog turf installed in our side yard/​dog run. The land needed to be leveled, we had 4 drains that needed to be addressed and a gutter downspout that ended up being moved. His guys were hard workers, efficient (even though its not the easiest piece of property to work with– a large staircase out front and a 4 foot retaining wall). The yard was leveled, drains were fixed and turf was installed in less than 2 days. One small communication issue about the downspout but Scot quickly responded, showed up at our house minutes later and it was taken care of in no time.
We had 2 other quotes done for the turf. When Scot arrived I loved the fact that he personally came out to do the quote himself and not just a «salesperson» like the others. His price was $ 2000 lower than the first bid and $ 4000 lower than the second. The others were trying to «sell» us on so many things and charging astronomical fees for waste, the stairs, crushed granite, you name it, it had a hefty price tag. Scot was straight to the point, knowledgable about the drains and we signed a deposit check within a half hour. We could not be happier with the results and would highly recommend Scot and his guys for any of your landscape needs. Professional, timely, affordable and dependable. Well done guys. We could not be happier. And Oski loves his new play area.

I cannot recommend Scott and his crew enough! My husband and I have never paid to have any home project done before so we were really cautious in making our decision on who we were going to trust to do the job right. We met with 4 different companies and asked tons of questions in order to find out exactly what we were getting and paying for. Scott was not only the most knowledgeable but also the only one who explained on the spot quickly and efficiently how much of the materials we would be needing, why and how much it would cost us. There was no waiting around for confusing quotes that have you paying for far more square footage then you actually need. He’s honest, does the installation along side his crew, and impeccable at what he does. On top of all of that, his prices beat the competition by so much it had us doubting that the quality might suffer somehow because of it. Well let me say that it definitely did NOT and we are so completely in love with our back yard. It is perfection!

Scot did a great job on my turf several years ago. I am finally getting around to doing a review. His team was organized and worked efficiently. I got a nice tall grass as well as a small putting green. Everything was done very well and I really like his suggestion to cover my drain pipes with the grass in order to hide them. It drains like a champ!

Been a few months now and we’ve gone through a couple of heatwaves and even some rainstorms. Still looking good! Also got our rebate back from the water district for installing artificial turf.

Extremely professional well priced and efficient. I priced out a few outfits and some came lower others higher but after inspecting properties being worked on and speaking with prior clients it was a no brainer!!!

I am really pleased with the job done by Scott, the owner and his team. They installed artificial turf in my back yard a couple months ago. First, Scott was completely open and honest regarding what he proposed to do, and the cost was VERY competitive. Scott, owner of San Diego Lawns and Turf, is amazingly helpful and skilled. His team installed 1500 square feet of artificial lawn, both front and back yards, for my house in Coronado. It was done efficiently, in a timely manner and turned out to exceed my expectations! It is beautiful and really does look like real grass. Also, they do much more than just install turf, They weed, trim bushes, work on sprinklers, move rocks and gravel around and many other lanscaping needs. Another plus… cost was substantially under the estimates of other companies! And Scott and his workmen are friendly, hardworking and were always willing to listen to my ideas and concerns. I highly recommend this company!!! Working with them was truly an enjoyable experience!

I wanted to have artificial turf installed and got bids. This company gave me a very competitive and firm price (unlike the other companies that bid). The measurements were right on and I was offered a choice of many different turfs and explained the whole process and all of my «dumb guy questions» were answered. The owner (Scot) is actually on every job and works just as hard or even harder than his employees. I can’t tell you how incredibly awesome my yard looks. It was a two-​day job and I didn’t have to do any cleanup or anything once the job was done. They even hauled away all the old dead grass and filled in any uneven areas in the yard. I was so excited at how beautiful it looked that I was high-​fiving the owner. I would never have dreamed it could be so beautiful. The biggest advantage: no more watering, no more edging, no more fertilizer, no more trying to keep my lawn looking better than the neighbors. Trust me, I love my yard and real grass, but I will never regret this purchase or the company I chose to do the job. Thank you Scot and Alan! :)
