Super yummy pizza, and sandwiches. Bang for your buck with the great lunch deals!

First time in fallbrook area and we were hungry for some pizza. There was a line to order but not too long, we were promptly helped by a friendly blonde cashier. Our food was brought out after 10 minutes and honestly I’ve never tasted a pizza this good. The crust was perfect. Not thick but not too think. Just perfect. We had salami/jalapeños, so cheesy so good. We also had spaghetti and meatballs and that was also pretty good. We dropped one of our drinks and the workers there were quick about cleaning it up and not being annoyed. Overall such a good experience. 1 medium pizza 1 spaghetti and meat balls 2 drink for 20 $ no bad!

I would have rated it at least one more star, but they do not have beer. Pizza & no beer? Especially in this area of craft breweries? I had the Garlic Chicken pizza, one of their special recipes. It was very good! I would get it again, but there are other pizzas that I want to try. If I go again, it will be for take out so I can get a beer. Oh, and not WiFi. :(

We live close so we have been to this place a few times. The pizza is just ok, not consistent, and over priced. Today the water tasted like bleach and smelled very bad. We brought this to the lady at the counters attention, here was her response. She tried it herself and confirmed our smell and taste of bleach. Her only remedy was that we could purchase water at $ 1.50 per bottle, not even sorry about that !! Any quality restaurant would at least give you some safe water after you spent $ 30.00 for a pizza and 1 salad. If bleached water is ok to serve to clients, what else is tainted. I won’t be back and I caution others since these guys don’t care !!! This is how small town restaurants go down the tubes, word of mouth. I’ve lived here 20 years so I will pass the word along.

So sorry to post that our pizza was soggy, unflavored and cold. Prior to this visit, we absolutely loved everything we ordered. Please pay attention to your customers.

Great price & the pizza was very yummy! The house salad was really good along with their house dressing. Cool little spot to hang out :)

I live in Bonsall and have been a regular for more than 10 years. This is not just the best pizza place in the Bonsall/Fallbrook area, it is very good when compared with any similar restaurant anywhere I have been. It’s surprising to have such a good place here in «Donkeytown». The quality is the best and it’s consistent. Service is always good and the people are friendly. Finally, the prices are reasonable and the interior has been updated. I just don’t know why some reviews were a little critical or why someone compared it to Chicago Pizza.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been coming here for a few years now and the owners and staff are extremely friendly. Love everything on their menu– I usually get their meat lovers pizza or torpedo sandwich. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite pizza place around. Everything is fresh, the staff is super friendly, and the prices are super affordable. We always get a couple pizzas and buffalo wings extra crispy… to die for! The sandwiches are really good too. Make sure to call ahead, pizzas are ready pretty quick.

I didn’t even know this hidden gem existed until I was asked to pick up some ordered pizza for a birthday party near by! Everyone at the party enjoyed the pizza and wanted to know where the pizza was from! I decided to go back a few weeks later for their lunch special and got a good size pizza and a salad at an awesome price! This place is by far one of the best pizza eateries in San Diego using quality ingredients and the staff is very friendly! Ya they charge for refills or ranch, but this place most likely only gets locals to the area because it is hidden off the 76 so they have to keep business somehow! I don’t live in the Bonsall area or even close to that city but I will be sure to visit Village Pizza often!

The Village pizza closest pizza to me, new to area. We tried the vegetarian pizza, and it was delicious. Fresh veggies, crisp crust. Tried again and to my delight the vegetarian pizza wasn’t a fluke. Kid friendly place… No beer or wine. But nice pizza.

Sandwiches are pretty good. The pizza is okay, although small in size, but the prices are just ridiculous! No free refills on drinks either. This was the 3rd time we’ve been here and I’m not sure we will come back again. Tonight’s visit was only out of desperation and if I remember correctly, so was our last visit. The floor and tables were kind of dirty too. I don’t usually give negative reviews, but charging 75 cents for a refill when your prices are already high is just lame.

I go to Village pizza as much as I can. They have the best lunch specials. I usually get a meatball sandwich. The bread, meatballs and sauce is like nothing I’ve had. Pizza, don’t even get me started. The dough is made from scratch. Normally when I eat pizza elsewhere I don’t eat the crust. However, at Village you can taste the freshness. Salad is fresh and the ranch dressing is addicting. The service is the best. The staff is very friendly and they always have a smile. I always recommend Village pizza to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Pizza is very good, so was the pastrami sandwich. Only drawback, they don’t serve beer. I was looking forward to an ice cold brew with my pizza…

This is our regular Friday night meal. A extra large pepperoni and medium cheese will cost you $ 27.54. It’s not the cheapest but worth every penny. The dough and sauce are made here. Plenty of cheese and sauce on the pizza. The crust is cooked perfectly, not too thin or too thick. Just right with a little crop to the bottom. You can get cheese and peppers on the side. The staff is amazing! The line may be a few people long but if you call in your order they will have it ready for you quickly. Salads are also delicious and fresh. At lunch they have done great sand which specials. They make such great sandwiches and top them with a house dressing. Bacon pizza it great here, just remember to order breakfast bacon or the give you ham. Enjoy this hometown treat!

Born and raised in New Jersey, I have devoured my share of pizza from coast to coast. I’m pretty judgmental when it comes to the pie… Village Pizza has been owned by the same friendly and hard working couple for at least 20 years, I think. The pizza is probably the best around but like I said before, I’m kinda spoiled. Prices are ok for a tomato pie of any size. I always ask them for a thin crust and well done. Tastes pretty good that way. I’m a simple guy so pepperoni or just plain old cheese does it for me. Service can be slow at times but if you get the right one to help you that can actually make change without a calculator, you order and are back out the door in about 15 — 20 minutes. I rarely eat there so I can’t speak about that. Eat pizza and eat it often…

I’m glad there is a great pizza place in Bonsall because I hate driving to Oceanside for good food. The pizza is good, location is great because it’s right next door to Bailey’s Frozen Yogurt and the prices are wallet friendly. They have some tv’s to watch the Chargers, it’s roomy with lots of tables and they have a nice size menu. When I get a pizza I have to have tomato and basil, when I get the spaghetti dinner I get the very tasty huge meatballs.

We dropped in for a salad and pizza. The«house» salad was not great — it was mostly iceberg and cheese and I would not recommend it, but then again, I rarely order salad when I’m at a «pizza joint». The pizza ordered was a supreme of sorts, again, not my type, but it was good. It was medium thickness verging on too thick for my taste, but the crust was excellent. I figured with a 4+ stars Unilocal rating and a huge oven in the back that the pizza would be good. I’ll definitely be back for a straight pepperoni pizza.
