Established in 2010.

With a combined 17 years of experience in the field of cosmetic medicine, Jennifer Canesi, ANP-​BC and Michael Tantillo, M.D. began Boston Medical Aesthetics in 2010 to offer patients the latest in cosmetic medicine treatments performed by highly-​trained medical professionals. Since its inception, Boston Medical Aesthetics has become known in the Boston area for being at the forefront of skincare thanks to its commitment to clinically proven treatments and procedures.

Jennifer Canesi, ANP-​BC C.

Business Owner

Jennifer is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner with expertise in the area of soft tissue augmentation, neurotoxins and minimally invasive techniques for cosmetic corrections. Jennifer graduated from Boston College in 2005 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2009. Jennifer is a member of the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Society, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Society of Aesthetic Injectors, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Jennifer has over five years of experience in the art of facial rejuvenation with cosmetic injectables. Her loyal following of clients pays tribute to her ability to subtly rejuvenate the face by restoring volume, smoothing wrinkles and improving skin quality.

I had 3 hair removal laser sessions with Jennifer, everything went well. Of course, the process is painful but this is what you expect! I did not have any bad reaction, just some itching that went away with cortisone cream.
I can really see the result.
The location is very clean and welcoming, and very convenient. I highly recommend!

I have been a client of Jennifer’s for about 7 years for botox, fillers and now coolsculpting. Jennifer is very knowledgeable of all her treatments. She listens to her clients and understands exactly what they want. Jennifer is very caring throughout any procedure; consult, treatment and follow-​up. I’ve had coolsculpting on my lower belly and flank area (love handles); the results are amazing!!! No downtime!!! I highly recommend Jennifer and the team at Boston Medical Aesthetics to anyone who is interested in their treatments! Very happy that I was referred to this business! If you like knowledgeable staff, a variety of services that is all wrapped up in comfortable and clean but stylish facility. TA-​DA this is it. I don’t want to tell all my tales about the services I have received here, I guess I am a little shy, vain, and well secretive about my beauty extras. But I will say I have my next appointment booked and I have already consulted with Jennifer about other types of treatments that I might want/​like/​need. So yep I am a huge fan.

I have darker skin. Having been burned in the past by laser hair removal, I was nervous about taking on a groupon type deal for this place. I did extensive research and talked to Jennifer ahead of time for reassurances regarding the machine she uses.
I decided to do underarms. I think I ended up getting 2 groupons for a total of about 10 treatments. It’s been almost 2 years since my last treatment, and I’m essentially hair free. Occasionally I have to shave very fine hairs. But it’s barely noticeable.
Jennifer is generous and offered a very reasonable price should I need a touch up. I went in for my touch up last week and feel confident that I won’t have to touch my underarms for the rest of the summer.
The office is clean and located within an existing dental practice. It is conveniently located in fanuel hall right across the street from Bertuccis.
Jennifer is kind, knowledgeable and efficient. This is my place of choice for my laser hair removal needs.

I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. My skin is transformed and I couldn’t be happier with the results and the service.
Jennifer is as sweet and knowledable as they come. She takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and ensures that you are comfortable throughout the procedure — both with the pain level and the results.
The prices are very reasonable — especially in comparision to other places offering similar services that I’ve tried previously with unsatisfactory results. The scheduling is convenient, the office is very nice, and the staff is friendly.
You will definitely be in good hands here and your skin will look amazing.

I have been going to Jennifer for Laser Hair Removal for about 9 months now. She is professional and friendly and the Office is very conveniently located. I have been extremely pleased with the results I have seen and have gone back for more treatments on other body parts. Jennifer is very thorough in her work and manages to keep a good conversation going to distract me from the lasering. She is very flexible and offers appointments later into the evening which is great for people who work past 6. I love this place and would recommend it to others for sure!
