Can’t Stop Moving

I’ve been meaning to write this review all week, we could not have accomplished moving out daughter from East Boston to the North End without the help of Alex, Jamie and Chris. These guys were awesome, professional, respectful of her belongings and the price was phenomenal. I will be sure to call them again! Thanks so much

These guys are absolutely awesome! They came before the scheduled time and were super efficient and extremely careful while moving everything. Jamie, Chris and Greg were very friendly and kept everything as we requested. We have a big couch which didn’t fit through the staircase, they came a second time — Alex, Jamie and Chris — and hoisted our couch at no extra charge! I’ll can’t imagine moving without these guys from now on!

The only moving company I will ever use in Boston. I have used them twice.
They are quick and hyper efficient — also super flexible! They came earlier than initially scheduled due to our need to be out of our apartment by noon on moving day. The movers have been excellent each time — strong guys who are super friendly.

This review is late but we wanted to make sure we wrote it because we had such a great experience with this company. We moved in late November from South Boston to Canton, from an apartment to a house, with a baby and dog in tow! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, we requested an online quote and got a response quickly with a very professional email follow up asking some clarifying questions.
On the day of the move, Alex, Andrew and Tom arrived on time and quickly moved everything out of our apartment, taking much care to not damage furniture or walls on the way out. They also disassembled our baby crib and set it up perfectly at the new house.
It was a long day for these guys, also having to stop at a storage unit on the way to our new home to pick up all of the items that did not fit in our condo. These guys maintained a great attitude the entire time and were extremely professional at all times, again taking extra care when moving items into our new home.
Our move was stress-​free and these guys made a very chaotic time for us a lot easier. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable and professional moving company. You won’t be disappointed.

A friend referred us to Can’t Stop Moving. What a great tip! The customer service was great — responsive, informative, and truthful. Our move from Southie to the West End was a piece of cake. Alex, Andrew and Jamie were careful and considerate. Everything was wrapped and padded so well that nothing was damaged. They arrived on time, efficiently moved our belongings, and gave us a discount for paying with cash! What more can you ask for?!

This is late but I just remembered how amazing this company is so I want to make sure I still do.
Let me set the scene for you. I was moving last year for February 1, yes, when Boston was buried under 6 feet of snow and I was looking for help moving. I found Alex because of the deal he had posted. I called and he answered right away and we talked for 45 minutes about what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. The 45 minutes was because I was being a wicked pain in the ass about how much it was going to cost (I was on a serious budget). Alex agreed to squeeze me in even though they were starting work at 6am and working straight through the day, until me, at 7pm.
I was moving to Southie and when we arrived the person moving out was still moving out (their movers were 3 hours late. Alex was 20 minutes early.) Alex and his crew politely moved in my furniture around these other people moving out and put my bed back together and made sure the furniture was where I wanted it. No one has ever asked me that before. Alex was so nice and so professional and him and his crew had smiles on their faces and joked with me the whole time (they could tell I was very stressed). Literally the nicest most professional best moving service on the EARTH. If I were to leave the country I would pay Alex to move me. Never had a better experience in my life and don’t need to try anyone else. Alex and this business are perfect. Give them your business every time, you will NOT be sorry.
He even swept my old place after moving out the furniture, by the way.

1 bedroom 1 bath 3^rd floor walk up moved in less than 3 hours total time. You guys rock!

I used CSM this past weekend to move to an apartment in the West End of downtown Boston. These guys showed up early, were friendly, worked hard and handled everything perfectly. There were a number of issues with my move… the elevator at the storage facility was not working, the elevator at my new apartment building was small, and the bedroom frame was very difficult to put together. These guys handled everything without a problem.
I would definitely recommend CSM for anyone who is looking for a good moving company at a decent price.

Let me start out by saying that my husband and I were not the world’s best customers today. I had underestimated the number of boxes we’d have by A LOT. Then my landlord had left a TV hutch in our new apartment, which we asked Alex and Jeremy to move to the curb for us thinking it would be a quick an easy job. As it turned out, that hutch seemed to have been made out of pure lead. The guys said it was the heaviest, most dangerous piece of furniture they’d moved with only two guys. Needless to say, I’m sure they were more than relieved to get done with our job and never have to see our faces again.
Through it all, though, these guys were amazing. They hardly stopped moving, and were practically running between the truck and apartments. Not only that, but they are just really nice guys! Whenever we need movers again, I’m calling these guys, and hopefully it will be far enough into the future that they will have forgotten the hell we put them through today.

Alright, we moved 2 days ago from a 3^rd floor apartment to a house on a hill with a bunch of outdoor steps that is roughly equivalent to 3 flights of stairs. Obviously we had to hire movers for this because none of our friends are stupid enough to accept pizza and beer for something like that. I got quotes from 3 movers, all of which were within $ 30 of each other. We went with CSM over the others because a) Alex’s emailed quote was the most detailed and informative, and b) they offer a discount if you pay in cash.
The 3 movers who showed up were fast, fun, and nice. They were totally understanding when our old landlord threw a wrench into things and slowed down the process; and not just that, but they made up the time after that happened so the job was still completed in the estimated time.
We’ve set up all of our furniture and unpacked all 60+ of our boxes and not a single item was broken in the move. Major kudos. I can’t recommend these guys enough — in fact, I already have to someone moving soon!

I used Can’t Stop Moving this week — and I honestly think it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a very long time. The company was easy to work with, reliable, careful, and above all, QUICK.
Setting up the move was a breeze — Alex was available to answer all of my questions. Three movers arrived to bundle up my 1^st floor 1 bedroom apartment in Southie and move to a third floor walk up in Charlestown. They arrived around 8:45am and completed the move (including travel time) by 11:30am. I was very impressed. They were professional, polite, and seemed to really know that they were doing. Plus, the Unilocal deal and pricing was really competitive.
I can’t say enough good things about this company — choose them and you won’t be sorry.

Thank you Alex and Andrew for moving me in crappy weather, and for being so fast, efficient, and professional. From the price quote to the ETA, they were forthright, dependable, fair and honest. I had heavy furniture that they lifted with ease and care, they smiled and even called ahead and asked if they could pick me up a coffee! This is a genuine company, run by genuine men, who really enjoy and respect the people they service. When I move again, they will be my only choice. They are incredibly affordable, my budget was limited, and they easily kept me under budget. If you need to move, give Alex a call, he will reduce your stress so much.

Alex was personally available to help with the move. They were on time, professional and polite. I didn’t have a lot of stuff so it was all done in a couple of hours.

Without question, these guys must be the best movers in Boston! I read some reviews before choosing Can’t Stop Moving and saw someone mention that they also do business in Seattle and decided to give them a try after reading their hundreds of 5-​star reviews from the West Coast.
Alex is top notch — I have moved pretty frequently over the past 5 years so have dealt with all types of movers and can say without hesitation Alex is the most professional, courteous, hard-​working and sincere mover and really person in general I’ve dealt with in years! He really «can’t stop moving» and will get your move done quickly and without the normal stress moving brings to us all. Give these guys a try, you will thank me!

Let me start at the beginning. I was lured to trying professional movers thanks to groupon. I’m on a budget, but it turned out that budget included movers because I am a big girl (28 years old!) and hauling stuff up a 3^rd floor walk up is so not my jam especially now that I own furniture and things that I like. So, budget was arranged to accommodate movers. I learned one hugely important thing: I will never move without professional movers again. They are worth every penny (and more!) that you spend. Now, groupon screwed up the wording and essentially threw in an extra hour. These guys are so awesome, they honored it anyway. Since they were doing me a huge favor, I was more than happy to be flexible in timing (switching to 1pm start time from 8am is a bonus in my book, especially when I’m still finishing packing). I even moved things out to the sidewalk since I ran out of room and wanted to make things easier and quicker for them. Because I had 2 hours and boy was I going to use ‘em!
Then I got stuck in traffic and their route was better so I ended up holding things up a bit. But at the new place they were quite efficient and it was so goddamn beautiful to watch other people haul my stuff up to the 3^rd floor. The few loads of extremely delicate/​fragile items I took myself had already made my legs feel like jelly but hot damn they powered through and re-​assembled furniture I’d long forgotten how to take apart and put together.
The Boston branch is new, but look at their website. They’ve got a jillion 5 star ratings in Seattle. I can promise you they earned every one of them, including mine. I even talked my boyfriend into hiring them for his move into the apartment. Because we’re adults of good taste, and hell, we deserve not hauling our crap up those beautiful stairs in our building. We’ll gladly pay nice men to do it for us. Thanks, guys. I’ll see you soon when my boyfriend moves in, and this time I promise there will be donuts!
