We specialize in Orthopedic problems .With 2 board certified specialists and an ATC/​PT, we can handle a wide range of problems. Spinal Dysfunctions, TMJ, and sports injuries (integrating multiple treatment approaches) are handled with skill and expertise using manual techniques in one on one sessions.

History

Established in 1983.

Downtown Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation has been serving the Downtown, North End, Waterfront communities since 1983. The Natick suburban office was added in 1990. The practice was started initially to serve the largely Italian speaking community but has grown to serving all ethnic groups with staff abilities in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Spanish and Italian. Continuing education (an emphasis of our practice) has made us one of the most experienced and knowledgeable staff in the area of Orthopedics.

Meet the Business Owner

Marco V.

Business Owner

Marco is the Director of Downtown Physical Therapy. He has also worked at Spaulding Rehab, Belmont VNA and at the GELB TMJ Clinic at Tufts Dental School.

Marco received his Bachelor of Arts in General Sciences from

Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. He then went on to get a Masters Degree in physical therapy from Boston University’s Sergeant College and was awarded board certification in Orthopedics in 1995 from the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association). He then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Simmons College .

He has taught and lectured at Tufts Dental School, Boston University and Simmons College. He is currently chair of the Finance Committee of the Mass. Chapter of the APTA and in the past has served as a delegate to the APTA House of Delegates. He also serves as the Health Care Services Board of the Board of Industrial Accident’s physical therapy representative and is vice president of the New England Physical Therapy Network.
