Amazing Buffalo Chicken pizza and Ernesto Pizza. Great for late night eats.

I’ve had their pepperoni, four cheese, and margherita pizzas. All were okay, but not great. The crust was similar to a frozen pizza crust and tomatoes seemed a little old. Not too much flavor and really really greasy. Overall, if I’m really really hungry and not motivated enough to go somewhere else I’ll come here just because it’s close.

Best single slice of buffalo chicken pizza around. I’d suggest getting delivery since the dining area is tiny and always extremely hot and crowded, but that takes forever too.

Delivery is horrible and customer service was horrendous. Ignorant and unprofessional. Too lazy to even come to your door so make sure you’re next to your phone

During my brief and horrifying trip to Boston this pizza place was my silver lining. The boneless chicken was absolutely delicious tender and full of taste. The pizza was the best I’ve ever had. Should I ever return I will definitely grab a slice.

I’ve ordered from here thrice now and the pizza was ok the first two times. Due to alot of reviews about the Buffalo ranch pizza I ordered that first, it wasn’t as spectacular as many people have mentioned. Then I tried the mozzarella pizza, that was a big let down. Today I thought I’d keep it simple, ordered a cheese pizza with two toppings — mushroom and green peppers. The peppers weren’t cut evenly, that’s ok. But the toppings barely covered half the pizza, that was disappointing. After being charged $ 1.5 for each extra topping I get a pizza which is half covered.

Terrible start to finish! They may make a desirable slice of buffalo chicken pizza but be prepared to be insulted and threatened by your delivery driver. Not my first time having terrible delivery service at this location. No matter what time you call it’s over a hour wait and the pizza is guaranteed room temperature. The delivery guy will smoke his cigarettes while bringing your order and handing it to you. We had ordered yesterday to a luxury retail business and had the same experience but instead the pizza looked as if it had been thrown on the floor. The delivery driver called the store back after I chased him down for my copy of the receipt and called the owner Nazer. He continued to call and yell at us using vulgar explicit language and threats. Stay home and make your own pizza or go elsewhere. This business is the worst I’ve dealt with! It doesn’t even deserve a star. Never again.

Hands down the best buffalo chicken pizza I have ever had. Haven’t been able to find anything comparable since leaving college. A great stop for pizza by the slice, late night take out, dinners and subs. Open late so stop by for a slice when out drinking on Mission Hill

Being so close to IL Mondo makes it hard not to get some food from them every now and then, but whenever I do get food from them I tend to regret it later on. However, not because it tastes bad(because let’s be real, it tastes pretty amazing), but because it makes me feel like I need to hibernate afterwards. So overall, for college students, this is a cheap and good place to get some food for those long, late nights, but I would personally go elsewhere for a heartier meal. Dishes I’ve had are their pizza, mainly the buffalo chicken pizza, which is good and the slices are like twice the size of my face(not an exaggeration), but it’s pretty oily and greasy so I’m not a fan of how that makes me feel when I’m done. Their pasta dishes are even more oily and greasy than the pizza to the point that you can feel your arteries clog a little after each bite!!! I ordered their pesto pasta thinking that pesto would be less creamy and thick, but their pesto was pretty much the same consistency of Alfredo sauce, just with the pesto flavor. As a huge pesto lover, that creamy pesto sauce is something I’m not a fan of. I really don’t think that’s how pasta should be done. Also, if you save the pasta and have it again later on, the separation of the amount of oil from the rest of the sauce is disheartening. They have healthier options like salads available, but after trying their other dishes, I think my inner health nut will refrain from ordering anything from IL Mondo. So 2.5 stars because the taste is decent, but I think the quality of their dishes needs improvement.

The pizza is aiiight. $ 3 for a huge slice isn’t bad. Go here if you’re starving and its across the street. Other than that, I can’t really recommend it.

Thin crust huge slices of very good pizza. The cheese is perfect. The guys working behind the counter are cool. I had a sub that was pretty good too but I had a slice of cheese pizza and it was pretty damn good. They had a lot of gourmet slices to choose from but I always like to try the basics first. This one passed the test and next time I am back home in Boston, I will be stopping in. I don’t agree with the other people on here who worry about what the restaurant looks like. It’s a pizza shop where you go and get a slice or a sub. It has a TV and local papers to read. That’s all it should have. The focus should be on the food and they got that down. I know of only one other place where I may like the pizza better but I am not going to take away from this place. Give it a go.

I was visiting the Countway Library for a ‘research day’. I traveled from Philadelphia and stayed the entire day. Needless to say, at the end of the day I was starving. Not seeing anywhere else nearby, and not wishing to get lost, I went to the only place that I could find. Il Mondo. Il Mondo is a cute layout — if not really tight. I was shocked to pay $ 6 for A slice(ONE) of pizza and a can of soda. The pizza took up more than 1 paper plate and flopped over the end. Having grown up near NYC, I picked up my pizza, folded it in half, and tilted it to get the grease out… Almost all the the pizza flopped straight down, and the amount of grease was alarming. Worse yet, the pizza itself didn’t have any distinguishable taste. The crust, cheese, and sauce all tasted exactly the same., and it tasted like cardboard. The most satisfying thing I ate was a bag of wings and blue cheese flavored chips. Next time, I’ll figure out another place to eat, b/c I have no idea how this place is still open.

Try the buffalo chicken pizza. I use these guys when I cater meetings and I think I’ve upped their business. So many of my attendees have asked where the yummy pizza is from. Reseracher beer night is now at a new level, you’re welcome. IL Mondo is the world, the best, thin crust pizza in my opinion. No matter how topping laden a slice/pie I get, the crusty is nice and crisp. Huge slices too. 1 is enough, you have to be famished to eat 2, or be a dump truck… Also good chicken fingers, REAL chicken, tasty salads, haven’t tried the pasta. Always busy, but efficient especially at lunch. For Large catering orders they need at least 24 hours notice, it’s nicer if you order earlier so they can plan.

I’ve had a few Pizzas and some Pasta from here, only ever via delivery. I’m going to have to come clean and say that I order the Buffalo Chicken Pizza at least once a week and I love it. The Alfredo has also been good to me, and after sampling several other varieties of their pizza I’ve got no outstanding complaints on the food. They’ve yet to get an order of mine wrong, but I’ve got to say that I can be waiting on them a while for delivery. In their defense, sometimes that Pizza shows up stat, but other times I’ve waited over an hour. That’ll dock you a star right there.

I’m not sure what’s going on with this place. I work weekends at an area hospital and my department has been ordering take-out from them for years. Lately, the quality of the food has really gone downhill. Today, two of us ordered salads. The lettuce was brown and mushy. How did that go unnoticed when they were preparing it? Two of my coworkers ordered pasta dishes. One of the dishes was completely wrong. On the other, they’d neglected to add the extra cost chicken. I think we’re done with this Il Mondo’s for a while.

Usually I let mix-ups slide because shit happens, but shit is happening way too much at Il Mondo’s lately. I just came from a long trip and was not in the mood to cook tonight. I placed an order over the phone. When i showed up they told me they forgot my order and when I finally did get it home, it was wrong. Very unorganized place. Look elsewhere for pizza.

Ilmondo’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza is unique. Trust me, I have tried lot of pizza’s from different outlets, but Ilmondo Pizza definitely continues to be on my top wishlist.

I don’t know where the people who said this place was good are from. Pizza was bad, not average, not okay, just bad. It wasn’t horrible but it was bad. Cheap ingredients across the board. They may be cooking it right but with cheap ingredients you can’t go far. The sub. God was it awful. Ordered an Italian to spilt with my girlfriend. It was made with bologna. Bologna does not belong on an Italian. The bread sucked which I knew it would after trying the pizza. If your in the mood for pizza and you go here, you will leave still in the mood for pizza. I will say they had good bottled diet coke.

I ordered tiramisu and they brought me carrot cake. I figured that was pretty incompetent but then the driver showed up unannounced and told me that I must trade the carrot cake I got with him because he got my order wrong. I thought, «oh at least they caught the mistake». Then, he mentioned that he was actually giving me CHEESECAKE because they didn’t have tiramisu. Seriously!!! How about not charging me at all instead of bringing something I don’t want? I’m sorry, but that is a class A moron move. Also, I ordered a large margherita pizza and got the sorriest looking excuse for a pizza I have ever seen. Wtf. I’m not ordering from this place again unless Il Panino Café & Grill is closed or I am desperate. Horrible experience all around. I added an extra star because they are open nice and late.
