I have been so pleased with Dr. Hanley, who was my obsetrician with my second child. My daughter was born in late November, 2010, and most of my office visits were with Dr. Hanley. Her bedside manner is great — she never acts rushed while she’s with you, she gives you ample opportunity to ask questions or express concerns, and she works hard to learn about you. I didn’t expect to have such a personal experience at this city hospital. She learned my family and living situations and kept them in mind for all our future conversations. She even asked about a vacation she knew I’d been planning when I hadn’t seen her in over a month.
When I was in labor, she was the doctor on call and I was so pleased that she could be there for the delivery. I ended up delivering about 45 minutes after her 12-​hour shift ended but she stayed so that she could be present with me for the delivery.
I would very highly recommend Dr. Lauren Elyse Hanley.
