Michael Arcieri, DDS

Dr. Arcieri was the dentist I chose when moving to South Boston in 1998. He’s still my dentist after subsequent moves to JP and Roslindale. There’s a reason, he’s great.
Having broken my front tooth as an adolescent, I’ve spent my fare share of time with dentists. Dr. Arcieri’s bed-​side manner is excellent. He always has the biggest smile and shows a genuine interest in your personal affairs, and he has a great laugh. He is careful while de-​plaquing not to rough up sensitive gums. He is informative, taking the time to explain the science behind what he’s doing, share recent advances in dental care, or show you x-​rays so you feel like a participant in the process. I believe he’s a guest lecturer at BU from time to time, and I personally think his alignment with the academic community helps him stay on top of the latest and greatest dentistry. You can schedule appointments with him as early a 8AM, which is important for us working professionals with less flexibility in our schedule.
He’s a winner, a stand-​out in a crowd, and I’ll continue to see him as long as I live in the metro area.
