I’m very thankful for this space here in Allston. I have gone to the vintage market, yoga, and a pop up gallery here and all have been delightful. The Commonwheels group is darling and kind, and showed me how to fix up my bike. Glad they got their own space. Pop allows you to pursue your hobbies, and meet other awesome people who share your interests in a city where it sometimes feels like everyone is an egocentric jerk. Not to mention, a lot of what goes on at Pop is free or donation based. Wish this place was a permanent fixture in Allston.

Had a great time here recently. Vintage market is on Saturdays and has vendors on the first floor and the basement. Very eclectic selection of vendors and I found some cool vinyl too. It’s a cool alternative to others in the city. Definitely check it out!

Pop Allston is unfortunately only for a limited time, the building is set to be demolished in early April. The 2nd and 3rd floors are a free open to the public indoor skate park. Saturday’s have a vintage market from local vendors on the first and basement floors. There is also a cool looking bar in a corner, but I haven’t seen it open? While this place doesn’t have the best vintage market evar, and I don’t really skateboard on the reg, it’s a wonderful way to use a space. In a short amount of time, this place was made into a neat community place, which is a fantastic idea. More places should totally do this.
