strangest experience ever… I genuinely thought I was on candid camera. The place is COMPLETELY empty. I tried to make small talk with the cashier and said are you guys just opening or closing and he said no neither, why? Is there something I can help you with? and I said no I’ve just never seen a store so empty. He apologized for any inconvenience and smiled like everything was totally normally. So bizarre.

I was on this side of the Common and needed to go get some beer so I found that this place was the closest to my location. I did note Joe K.‘s review but thought that since it only had one 1 star review, perhaps it would have improved. Nope. The place is almost completely empty. Picture a bunch of shelves and aisles in a grocery store occupied by the contents of a sole vending machine. That’s how gigantic the store was, but how few items were within. I stopped before I got too far and asked the guy behind the register«Is it always like this?» Straight face he said«yes.» He was very rude and unfriendly and when I asked about beer he said there was none(meanwhile their Google listing says it’s beer, wine, and spirits!). I lightheartedly asked if it were a front for something and the guy flipped out on me so I beat a hasty retreat. If this place is still in business a month later, then it HAS to be a front for something. Definitely avoid at all cost. I hope that now there are two 1 star reviews, this will prevent people from making the same mistake as I did.

This place has nothing. I have never seen a liquor store in boston with empty shelves! Especially on a Friday. Go anywhere else.
