Comfort Inn Bothell – Seattle North

This hotel was clean, beds good, room good size and free breakfast was par with most. They needed more tables in their breakfast room. They were replacing all their picture frames and boxes cluttered the lobby. There had to be a better place for them. In addition, I would suggest that money would be better spent on deferred maintenance. The towel rack above the toilet was about to fall off and the bathroom fan generated about 85 db noise. They could replace their toilet seats with the kind that drop slowly rather than bang down. The free Wifi is blazingly fast 30mps but they block Netflix streaming. Only hotel I have found that does that.

Stayed here for four days and three nights while visiting Seattle! The front desk was always very helpful and nice and they gave each of us a bottle of water when we checked in. Free coffee in the lobby all the time, great tv sets and dvd players, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, and in a great location (right next to a 24 hour grocery store and various restaurants) only about thirty minutes away from Seattle, and has plenty of parking. We loved this place! I definitely recommend staying here!

My husband and I booked a room here for 3 nights in December though
, and we showed up to find that there was an error with the booking and 2 rooms had been reserved. Yeah… well we wanted one and this was not our fault, and common sense would dictate that we shouldn’t have to pay for 2 rooms. The 18-​year-​old looking front desk girl said she couldn’t help us, and furthermore that she was going to charge us for 1 night on the other room we didn’t need plus a cancellation fee for the other nights. Ridiculous.
We were told to talk to the manager of hotel (this by
, who said that the issue was «out of their hands» — we won’t be using that service anymore either). We followed up with the manager the next day, and he seemed totally not to care and tried to blame the issue on either us or
. Unprofessional and a waste of time.
Suffice it to say, the charges we received for this extra room were disputed with our credit card company and we did not end up having to pay for THEIR ERROR.
In a world of possibilities, don’t stay at this hotel. The rooms are generic, the food was pretty gross, but what counts is their complete lack of customer service. Treat yourself; find somewhere else to stay.

I don’t often write reviews but I had to for this Comfort Inn location where I’ve been staying for the past three days. Not only did we get a great rate (I believe $ 109/​night) but we were offered an upgrade on check-​in because we were staying for a little longer than usual.
The main reason I wanted to leave a positive review however is the staff. I don’t know that I’ve encountered a more helpful, friendly staff at even the nicest five-​star hotels. It’s remarkably apparent that the employees are very well-​led. I wish I could remember names but I don’t. Every person, from the check-​in counter to the girl at the continental breakfast to housekeeping was constantly going out of her way to help with even little things, like carrying my food, searching for and finding hot chocolate when they overheard someone saying it would be a nice breakfast addition. It’s very apparent that these people care a lot.
The hotel isn’t all that new, but it’s clean and the staff make up for the age.

We stayed here for the Fourth of July. Great location. Near QFC grocery store, dennys, the mongolian grill and more! .We got the king suite. Clean rooms, comfiest bed and pillows period. Stellar customer service. Thank you Caitlyn for going above and beyond under such unusual circumstance! possible more usual for you than us. LOL. i was snoring away, deep in sleep while my husband is banging on the door trying to get in. The part Im glad to see is the latch helps security wise while i’m in REM but i guess its not as funny when my husband is locked outside. :P so thanks for helping. The best thing Ill always rave about this place is their HOT BREAKFAST! not continental breakfast but an all out eggs sauges waffles yoghurt fruits donuts cereal from 5am-​9am every day and on weekends 5am-​10am. I was a consistent customer about every two months in the last two years. I made a reservation and for the first time, I had to cancel with less than 24 hour notice. This establishment stuck to policy and would not satisfy the customer, stating the system would not allow the reservation to be cancelled. I spoke with the manager the next day and he said that he would not conduct the refund but that he would provide a voucher for a future stay. I was ok with that as he stated that he would make things right. Needless to say, he did not. I did not get a voucher and they were happy with keeping their 100 dollars. Fine with me, I will never use this establishment again and I have found a new place that treats their customer as that, a customer, and not just another room rate filled like Comfort Inn Bothell treats their customers.

Very nice chain hotel location. Room was very clean and comfortable, especially the bed.
Only flaw was that the AC unit could have used a bit more in the way of fan velocity to get the air to the other end of the room more quickly.
Hot tub/​pool was very nice for this style of hotel. Really liked the fact that the pool was open until midnight with a no kids restriction after 10PM. It’s really hard to relax in a hot tub with half a dozen grade schoolers jumping in and out. This was much nicer.
Hot breakfast was above average for this class of hotel. Had two types of waffle irons and a flavored batter in addition to the standard plain one. Also had hot eggs and sausage.
Front desk was very friendly and attentive and the wifi worked flawlessly with no hassles.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel with a large group. Our mix of parents and kids took over about half of the hotel for a local sporting event.
Positives were pleasant staff and a good location. Very close to I-​405 and next to a shopping center with a grocery store and restaurants. Very convenient for those little purchases, team meals, etc. We just had to move our meetings to the parking lot since the breakfast room is tiny and there aren’t other meeting spaces.
Rooms were clean and of average size. Since our group had four kids sharing a room, conditions were crowded. This is in comparison to our more recent stay at the Marriott Residence Inn just down the road. The Comfort Inn has a typical hotel layout, with several floors and long hallways and a few other amenities:

** Free coffee
** Indoor pool and spa
** DVD players
Overall a pleasant place to stay, but I’m enjoying more indoor and outdoor elbow room at the Marriott Residence Inn.

I stayed here while visiting family in Bothell. The room was nicely furnished, quiet, and clean. On our short stay I did not get a chance to visit the pool or experience the hot breakfast, but those are definite positives.
After a long day of traveling and a shitty couple hours dealing with sold out rental car places, I would like to thank Bri Lopez at the front desk for being so energetic, nice, efficient, and accommodating during our check in process. After a difficult day she was a breath of fresh air and a great representative for the property.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice standard room. Would recommend.
As a side note not entirely related to this hotel: The ChoicePrivileges customer service is terrible. If you want to collect your points for a stay be sure to get a confirmation number then call the customer service line while you are at the hotel to confirm. They have to call the hotel reservations line to confirm the stay.

We stayed three nights for family in the area and found the place a good value. The staff was friendly and attentive.
We tried the pool twice and found the temp. too cool for comfort
We will stay here again.

This place is a great value. The negative reviewer must work for the competition next door. My room was huge. 2 queen beds a business desk kitchenette and sofa. The décor is nice and up to date. The room came with a complementary hot continental breakfast. They have free cookies in the lobby. The staff was all very friendly. And all for about 40 percent less than the holiday inn next door.

I was really impressed with the customer service here. When I called to book my room the gentleman answered all my questions. When we got there the check in process was quick and easy and the military discount was great. When I couldn’t seem to find a taxi in the area the front desk attendant did right away. The warm breakfast was perfect after a night at the vineyard. For the price and experience it was definitely worth it. My only issue was when checking out it was not as personal. They slide your bill under the door in the morning and no one was there when I tried to turn in my keys. When I dialed zero in the lobby like the sign said someone picked up but I couldn’t hear much and they couldn’t hear me. Other than that great place.

I usually don’t rate hotels but this place was very convenient and great for our 4 kids during Spring Break vacation. Don’t get me wrong… this was no 5 star classy hotel but still very good for us. We have 4 kids and it’s rare to have a suite that offers two queens and a sofabed that fits 6 comfortably. It was decently rated as well that offers complimentary breakfast for all of us, indoor pool/​spa and coffee/​cookies any time of the stay by the front desk. They also offer free wifi.
We arrived late and we were greeted real well by the guy at the front desk. He answered all my questions about the hotel as well as the surrounding areas. They were doing some remodeling which shows me that they are going with the times and have money to do it. The location of the hotel was next to many restaurants, gas station and Albertson’s for supplies.
The rooms were well decorated and offers iron/​board, hair dryer, coffee maker, refrig, microwave and lots of lighting. I could only see that the wall paper in the bathroom was starting to peel at the bottom but its because there is no vent in the bathroom. The bathroom was kind of small, too. What was weird was this time of year it is below 50 degrees outside (April) but in our room it was warm so we had the AC on low most of time; not sure if it was because there were 6 of us. The beds were high and sheets were soft. The sofabed was not firm but I don’t think they ever are. I didn’t see any bed bugs to worry about. The TV and cabinets were not new but we never use those anyway. We keep our clothes in our suitcases.
The indoor pool was luke warm but still cold to us. The spa/​pool were clean and not many used it during our 2 night stay which was great for us! This at last keeps the kids occupied during the cold winter vacations.
The complimentary breakfast was great and was always refilled when it started to get empty. They had a waffle maker that you can do yourself. They offered blueberry and regular waffles, they had different cereals, bread, fruits, different eggs, bacon/​sausage and pastries/​donuts, coffee and juices and much more. I think the only complaint from my kids was there was no hot cocoa.
I would recommend anyone to stay here with a large family. It is only 20 minutes away from Seattle and right off the freeway.

My girlfriend and I stayed overnight here while in town for a wedding and I have to say this was probably the worst hotel experience I personally have ever had. When we arrived there was a woman ahead of us who had checked in and was given a room, but when she went up to settle in, apparently, someone else’s stuff was already there and the room had not been cleaned. So, we go to get our assigned room, haul our luggage up to the third floor only to find, that a.) the room had not yet been cleaned, and b.) we were given a smoking room even though we did not ask for one. We then had to go back down to the lobby with all our luggage in tow, wait for the clerk to finish checking in the people he was currently waiting on before we could address our problem. After an hour of waiting for the clerk to get done with the folks ahead of us and then figuring out how to put us in another room, we finally were able to check into our room.
As we were leaving the hotel 1 ½ hours later the poor woman who was there when we arrived was still standing at the front desk waiting to get her room.
I will say the room was very clean when we did get a room and everything else was fine, but the initial experience has soured me from ever staying at another Comfort Inn. Maybe your experience will be better than ours, but if I were you, I would stay somewhere else.
