Lavish Nails & Spa

This place does decent nails but I refuse to give them 5 stars because appointments mean nothing to them. I don’t even know why I bother, if I’m always going to have to wait another half an hour or more. I understand 5 to 15 mins, but 30 or more than what’s the point of an appointment? I’m from Florida and over there when u make appointments, they keep them. So frustrating. I’m going to look for another place if this keeps up.

Great service and the owners are very kind. I was walk-​in this past Friday around 1:30 pm. They quickly became busy with two parties of four and a few other walk-​ins like myself. Although the shop was busy, I did not feel rushed or that my service was shortened in any way.
They have new looking massaging chairs if you sit in the area for pedicures, a large flat screen TV that shows the music being played. I felt as if this area was fairly relaxing, nice lighting and kind people.

My daughter had a school dance to go to and was given a gift from her aunt to get her nails done so I made an appointment for 7pm as I knew they would be very busy as all my daughters friends were also getting their nails done. We arrived 5 mins early and sure enough the place was packed with teenage girls and their moms. I overheard another mom apologize to her two girls that she didn’t make an appointment.
I was unable to stay but before I left my daughter was told she was in line to be next. I asked how long it would take and they said an hour, so I timed my return for an hour. I got back and everyone is either soaking their feet or getting their nails done and there was no one waiting. My daughter however was sitting there still feet soaking and nothing had gotten started or done on her. So it was apparent to me that they had taken walk-​in customers and took advantage of my daughter because I wasn’t there with her and they knew that a young girl wouldn’t complain. This type of business practices of taking reservations but ignoring the reservations and take the walk-​ins first. Two hours after my daughters reservation she was finally done. Too bad there is no time to do the rest of our errands.

Very rude lack of customer service. I was told we could come in for pedicures at 7:15 no problem. We get there and it’s utter chaos and screaming and no one greets us. So I found a guy who worked there and told him we had an appointment and he didn’t say anything. Then a few minutes later a woman tries to make us sit on stools for children and told us we couldn’t keep standing. At this point it’s 20 minutes past the appointment time and she grabs my arm to sit on the stool. No thank you. Very inconsiderate to waste our time when you really were not able to take us and had to have known you had that many appointments because it was packed. Will not return or recommend.

Came here for a manicure. Was told a half hour. After almost 50 minutes left. Saw a lady pick up a non sanitized set of tools, put them in a bag (as if they were sanitized) and take them to a client. I’ll never return to this place.

I have a big event next weekend and I don’t have time to do my nails, so I looked up some nail salons and found Lavish. I read their reviews and was still skeptical myself to try it out based on past experience with other nail salons. I decided to try them out and also brought my 4 year old daughter with me.
When we got inside, we were greeted and seated right away despite being a bit busy. The surroundings are very clean and surprisingly, it didn’t smell so «chemically», like other nail salons do. It was very kid friendly. I sat down and told them I wanted shellac and showed them a photo of what I wanted it to look like. They looked at it and started working on my nails. They even gave my daughter a chair so she can sit beside me, that was plus point!
It took about 40 – 45 minutes but understandable because of how busy it was. By the end of my session, the lady asked my daughter if she wants her nails painted as well, of course she said «Yes!». She painted her nails — FREE!
Overall, I am obsessed with this place now and will definitely be back. I love my nails!

I was in need of a really bad pedicure… And this was a great place to go! The price for a pedicure was only $ 20 and they gave you a foot scrub and rub and everything! It was really nice. My pedicure lasted about 2 and a half weeks so they really did a good job. One thing that I felt uncomfortable with was the workers, they all acted like they didn’t want to be there at all…
Haven’t gotten a manicure yet but I’ll try it soon!
Also!!! Pay in cash so you don’t get charged a 45 cent fee lol if you care.

I’ve done my nails twice. First experience was great (it was just a basic shellac into the real nail). Although the second time, I really didn’t like. The lady didn’t take any suggestions id prefer. There is space between the thin line & french tip. I’ve told her bout it and she didn’t properly fix it.

I’ve have been here a couple times and each time was great! I got pedicures each time. They are very attentive and gentle. Definitely recommend coming here!

I don’t get pedicures often but this place is great. I got a deluxe pedicure, the stones, orange scrub (real oranges) wax, warm towels, the message chair and all around care felt awesome. Cute clean bowls, and nice ladies…
I will be back again and again.

I’ve been to Lavish Nails several times now and each visit has been really good, on busy days and not so busy days. On the busy days, the operations of the salon have been pretty typical of other salons in the area. There are a few exceptions (that’s why I don’t go to the other salons anymore) of which Lavish Nails covers pretty well, IMO. When they are busy, they greet you and try to seat you right away, if there’s a chair open. Otherwise, they will explain if there is more of a wait and suggest an alternate time. I also am appreciative of the patience when choosing nail color. Not once did I feel rushed, even on busy days. So far every service I’ve had has been spot on to what I’ve asked and paid for.
The mani and pedi services are pretty standard pricing and I am always happy with the way my nails turn out. The shellac selection is good and I’m excited to try out the colors that change with heat or cold. Overall, I’m giving them 5 stars because out of all the salons in the general Bothell area (and I’ve tried many of them), this one has been consistently giving me good service every time I’ve come in.

This place has really fallen off. The service was brisk and my manicure and pedicure was done without any care or attention. I waited 35 minutes just to get started while soaking my feet for that long that I drained the tub myself. After a brisk pedicure and a even faster manicure I was left on the seat without any explanation or send off. I waited about 7 min until I flagged someone down and asked, «so am I done?»
To top it off my manicure chipped after 16 hours. I might have walked in on a bad day but I don’t think I will be back anytime soon. Very disappointed…

I will never go back. It was a zoo. I got the Deluxe manicure with the message. My message was being punched in the arm and pinched in the neck. Can’t wait to see all my bruises. Then when it came to emptying the pedicure bowl they took a pitcher and emptied it into the persons next to me and the sink where everyone washes there hands.

I really wish that I could post a higher review because this place is stunning! However I got a shellac mani and it has only been a week and they are already chipping. I will probably try it out once more.
Update**
Went again and had a much better experience this time. I got shellac on my toes and a full set with shellac on my nails and it as lasted over 2 weeks no chipping or lifting.

When walking in the door I was greeted and helped immediately, they did an AMAZING job on my nails and exceeded my expectations by far! It was extremely busy due to the valentines weekend, but they never once made me feel rushed. Everyone was so nice!!!

Everyone was very friendly here. I got here with my friend for a mani-​ped. I like the foot spa was covered with a plastic so should be clean. Got a good massage on my leg and hand. My friend was fine but when one of the gal was doing my cuticles, she pushed too hard and too far so I was bleeding a little. Unfortunately her nail polish was coming off in less than a week and mine just about a week. Normally mine would last almost two weeks so I’m not sure why this was so short. I might give it one more try and see how it goes before we stop coming here.

My first visit I was wary walking in. My expectations for nail salons has gone down a lot recently. I walked into lavish and there was a person at the front desk waiting to help me. They got me seated and started on my nails right away even though it was fairly busy. The owner was giving me a fill on my acrylics and showed me what the last nail technician did wrong, and how he was going to fix my nails.
He continued to shape and file, shape and fils, and then he had to put me in a pedicure chair and have another girl finish the painting, since it had gotten busier he needed to work on another customer. I got to use the massage chair while she finished which, by the way, are amazing.
It took longer than I expected, about 40 minutes, but they are the best acrylics I’ve gotten so far. And only came out to $ 21. Pics are attached.
I highly suggest this salon, they are professional and polite.

Let me first start off by saying that they are so nice here! I really needed a mani-​pedi and have been so busy… I called in last minute, literally 20 mins before they were closing, but they were so sweet to take me anyway.
I was welcomed immediately when I walked in. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They worked efficiently and fast. On top of my hand & foot massage, I also got a shoulder/​upper back massage. What a treat! Everyone here is so friendly and they did a fabulous job on my nails. I’m super happy!!!
I will definitely be back! Thank you again for squeezing me in! I really appreciate it. :)

I’m so extremely picky about nail salons, and in less than a year I’ve tried many nail salons in the Bothell/​Mill Creek area. I’ve been to Lavish twice, and I’ve been extremely happy with the work they do. I am an at-​home manicurist, and I do my own gel nails and some nail art, but I still love to treat myself to a relaxing pedicure when needed. This shop is one of the cleanest and friendliest in the area. Some other shops really feel like assembly lines (*cough* Bella *cough*), and I question their cleanliness (*grumble* TD *grumble*).
I have a horrible memory for names and details of people sometimes, especially when I’m zoning out for a pedi, but there is a woman at Lavish that is EXCELLENT. She is one of the best pedicurists I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting a service from. She gives one hell of a foot and leg massage.
Lavish has an excellent collection of gel polishes, and they even have the ones that are color changing. Last time I went I got the color changing kind on my toes, and it’s really fun! When it’s hot it’s one color and another when cold, and it costs the same amount as the regular gel. I think their pricing is very fair for the amount of services you get with each level of pedi as well.

This place is my NEW NAIL SALON. I just started coming to this salon and have been a total of three times.
1) Polish is high quality, shellac never chips or peels!
2) Awesome massage, if not too busy they increase the time of massage for free
3) Always fun and interactive, when I’m deciding what fun design to do!
4) Polite, they speak to eachother in a different language. but acknowledge you and offer explanation about what they are discussing.
