Established in 2009.

With over 20 years of professional IT experience, I was tired of seeing my family & friends get rooked from big box computer repair stores.

Knowing that I could do a better job and for far cheaper, I founded My IT Gal to provide the community with a true IT professional, and one that is in the consumer’s corner.

Since founding My IT Gal in 2009, I have had the pleasure of being voted «Best of Northshore — Computer Repair» for 4 years in a row.

DO NOT GO TO LAURIE!!! Worse customer service ever. So I took my laptop in to get an SSD Drive installed and I got it back with a broken part on my keyboard, she broke a clip that holds my keyboard down. When I called her about it she was very defensive and rude; she started yelling at me and using profanity and then hung up the phone on me. Then called me back and said you are pissing me and accusing me of breaking your laptop. I told her «looking im not accusing you of anything, my keyboard was perfectly fine before you had my laptop and now its broken». SHE STATED THAT SHE WOULD NOT REPLACE THE PARTS SHE BROKE. That to me is no way to run a business! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

My college quarter started this week and my computer stopped working when I was trying to get homework done. I couldn’t get on the Internet, my Microsoft office uninstalled and I panicked especially with having online classes with homework due. I called Lori, she gave me a 24 hour guarantee with an affordable rate and totally calmed me down. I had my computer back in under 24 hours and my homework turned in on time! I love love love Lori and I will go to her with all my computer needs. I highly recommend her to anyone! Excellent, 20 stars, A+++++

Our laptop was completely locked up and we could not get it to work properly… we knew it must have some type of virus. Lori was recommended and we are so pleased with the outcome. Even with a storm happening and Lori being without electricity, she managed to get our laptop back up and running in a short period of time. Her flat rate certainly is icing on the cake. I highly recommend her and plan to use her for any future issues we may have.

The hard drive on my old laptop was about to die, so I took it to My IT Gal. Lori did a great job. It turned out to be more hassle than it would normally be and she went way above and beyond what was expected. The total bill was really reasonable as well, especially considering how much extra work she had to do to get things working. Laptop is running great now and I couldn’t be happier. I’d use her service again and would recommend her to anyone in need of help with a computer issue. Thumbs way up.

Laurie is great! Several years ago I watched some episodes of Boardwalk Empire on a ‘free’ website. Big mistake! Viruses made a mess of my pix and documents and barred me from Windows updates. Couldn’t figure out how to repair the mess. Enter Laurie. Debugged my computer and even fixed the stubborn updates issue, doing some homework and returning for a second repair visit. Computer now streamlined and ready to roll! Couldn’t recommend My IT Gal more highly!

I started my search for a computer tech to refurbish /​resurrect my laptop, but all the storefronts in Woodinville had closed down. The next closest place was My IT Gal in Bothell; she works out of her house, which is different than what most of us are used to, but it allows her to offer a nice $ 60 flat rate.
She worked on my computer for a couple days and was able to diagnose and fix the problems I was having with my MOBO. One of the most impressive aspects of her work is her desire to go above and beyond the problem. Some other tech could have easily spent a couple hours to update my BIOS, etc and charged me $ 100, but she went through and cleaned out the fans/​casing, installed all the windows updates, installed a few swag items to help with malware and updated all my drivers.
My laptop is working better than it has for years now; a great value for $ 60 and very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

My laptop had a hard drive failure. She ordered a new hard drive and fully recovered all of my data and pictures perfectly. She re-​installed everything quickly and at a very reasonable price. Then, the next week I left for Arizona to visit my daughter. I was so pleased with what she did with my laptop, I brought my daughter’s laptop back for her to repair. It had a virus. She fully recovered all of her data and pictures and it now works perfectly also. If I could give My IT Gal a 10 rating, I would!!!

Had some computer issues and wanted to take my PC to someone who could help. Did some research and found My IT Gal on Unilocal.I e-​mailed her around 10pm and she got back to me within minutes and within the next 30 minutes we had a time setup for me to drop off my computer. Best thing is she’s open on the weekends, which many aren’t. She had my computer and did all sorts of testing and updates and generally just cleaned it up.
Over a week later and there are still no issues! I’m very happy. I thought my BSOD’s were going to cause me a new computer.
Price is great. Will definately use My IT Gal services again if I need to!

We needed a new computer very badly and just happen to have a great friend who gave us his computer and hard drives. However we just didn’t have the time to transfer all the information and install the new OS. Of course we went straight to Unilocal!Good thing we did b/​c we found My IT Gal on here and they did a GREAT job. So quick and affordable. We now have our own IT Gal and we are so glad! We will be referring everyone we know to her!
